After a year of volunteering and playing music for a Church in the South Side Black Community of Chicago, I was invited to participate in a spiritual workshop being held at the attached convent. This ongoing work shop was taught by a Doctor who had profound spiritual experiences which helped her in life and she wished to share the methods that empowered her, especially in the Black community. We used two workbooks daily throughout the week and we met once a week as a group to compare notes.
The easy book was “You can heal your life” by Louise L. Hay. Louise is a sweet heart who healed her cancer and other life threatening illnesses by having greater control of her thoughts and feelings.
The one I struggled with the most was “A Course in Miracles” by the Foundation for inner peace. At first, the text was intolerable and made no sense. But, after a month of reliably following the daily lessons, the text got easier to understand and I started to experience more miracles. One example, is that I eventually discovered that the church I was playing music in was the one that baptized me as a child, when the neighborhood was Irish. It takes one year of daily lessons of “A course in Miracles” to get the complete “red pill” spiritual transformation. I finished it and it changed my life for the better.
As a result of my spiritual journey, some great jobs opened up for me that are usually reserved for “Favored Sons.”
The spiritual awakenings that occurred from doing “A Course in Miracles” enabled me to confidently exam all aspects of my life, to except the things I cannot change, have courage to change the things I can, and also have the wisdom to know the difference.
What happens when a man finally comprehends the cold and calculating thoughts that are going through a woman's mind, while her eyes are brimming with tears?
I mean no disrespect, but how much does it cost?
Love is just alimony waiting to happen. Visit mgtow.com.
Here is a free PDF. The the daily lessons are in the middle, which is the best place to start:

Here is a web site to order the book:

$23 for the soft cover;
$35 for the hard cover (this is my first choice)

The AA is based from those theoretical basis. Empowerment through knowing you can’t change something and realising what you can do about the ones you can.
A book that has a Christian writer that is easier to digest and is endorsed by the New York Times is “The Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren.
He talks about creating a mindset and a lifestyle around creating opportunities that are favourable for good fortune. If you’re a Christian person that interpretation is giving God more opportunity to swing things in your favour by building on your actions.
