So I see a female massage therapist regularly (yeah, I know but I’ve shopped around and she’s damn good at deep tissue technique) and today I met her boy friend for the first time.

Guy seemed like a cool dude.

After my session was over I asked her whether or not she’s ever given a deep tissue massage to her boy friend.

She told me he has a special card made up for him and every time he does certain good things he gets points on the card and when the card gets filled up then and only then does he get a massage.

I couldn’t believe it.

My massage therapist went out of business when the economy went south around here in 08 or 09, around the same time I couldn’t afford services anymore.

I haven’t seen my dog groomer since then either, I couldn’t afford her services either, but thank god, the government and all it’s and beneficiaries were doing just fine! They never felt so much as a pinch and are still doing okay.

We’re in for a correction of the likes the world has never seen…

When any nanny state creates too many mouths to feed it goes belly up overnight, just like Venezuela and all the other once great nations slipping into poverty, violence, and mob rule.

I guess I’m a little off track, that happens when reflecting on all that I’ve been through, and all the changes I’ve seen to society and what it means to make a living.

If nobody’s getting hurt, and the consumers are happy to do business, then it’s only a crime when a tyrannical system of government says so, and they SAY SO!

The system is on fire and needs to be unplugged!

I’m glad you enjoy your deep tissue massage, can’t get’em around here anymore, but you can rent space just about anywhere you go!

I think women have the market cornered on easy to do without services/businesses. They tend to charge way too much for these services too which just makes them go belly up all the sooner.

I agree Morlock, I had to make allot of adjustments to survive around here! Now I don’t spent, fuel, and money to have my dogs groomed, I can get the job done allot more efficiently now that I learned how to cut them in the proper directions while holding the flabby stuff without cutting them, you can’t just attack the fur b~~~~ without knowing where the flabby skin is and how to cut it without cutting it. My dogs now cooperate to the fullest after doing it for so many YEARS!

300.00 a year times 10 years, that’s three grand!

I cut all services from my life that otherwise I can do myself.

Auto mechanic/autobody/welding: How much do they cost these days?

Appliance service technician: How much an hour, how long do I have to wait?

Landscaper: How much to cut down and get rid of trees? 2,000 each?

Property maintenance, repair, and modification: How much for that new kitchen, or remodeled bath and hot tub?

The time I save in self sufficiency give me a lifestyle much greater than the average drone devoting all his efforts to a company or corporation where everything is based on the bottom dollar and golden parachutes for the hierarchy and crumbs for the masses!

Then there’s the s~~~ the bed factor, when the hierarchy of any given corporation or company goes plunder madness and destroys the company or corporation.

Stability in not guaranteed, you can be out of a job by next week and have your retirement move overseas without you!

I mean…. ok it seems childish and everything. But at the same time, it’s her profession she does that for work and prob doesn’t want to do ‘work’ at home. It would be nice of her to just give him one every once in a while without the whole points nonsense but I don’t know anything about their relationship to judge.
