A chance of a good deal in divorce

It dawned on me reading another post where a guys ex married again , so he he free from alimony.

I looked back on my divorce and I was very lucky , but a guy could plan it and possibly get a good deal , I say possibly as it depends on the women, her family background etc.

My ex and me grew apart , just got bored etc … I had a few affairs she never knew ‘I think ‘ she went out on a school reunion and met a guy she fancied at school, a few days later she said she needed time away.

The marriage was dead in water just played out , she she comes back a week later asking for a divorce I agreed saying it was over but no one has been unfaithful , I knew she was seeing him as I found her car at his place. But she was staying with her parents at night…

She came from an old fashioned family , no one had ever been divorced she would not want to look ‘wrong ‘ in her parents eyes.

So she agreed a good deal , I admitted to adultery and we had a clean break split, she never knew I knew about the other guy.

Got me thinking , if a man can ‘Sell his wife ‘ move her on to another guy when married he may have a window of opportunity , but I guess in this day and age no family is divorce free and women won’t care what their parents think , I was lucky due to her upbringing and indeed the era we were married.

It would be a challenge but a women who is keen to move on may we’ll settle for a fair deal if it’s dkne quick.

The above is not meant to me boasting , it’s just how it played out I just had to keep my mouth shut and pretend I never knew about the new guy , but that was not difficult as I wanted her gone.

Sounds pretty good, indeed. But I’d say it’s a rare instance. You were lucky, for sure.

Sure just luck, like the planets lining up ….

But if a guy could get the girl to jump ship with another guy , he may have a window of opportunity …
