    There are 1000+ reasons why marriage is an awful deal. Most of the reasons has to do with financial matters.
    However, there are other reasons as well. Such as biology, and The Wall.

    The counterargument to this would have to do with why women initiate the divorce. They would claim that men are cheating, causing the divorce. (I have no idea what the stats are) Or that men are not living up to their part in the marriage. Or, that they simply are not in love anymore and can’t be held be responsible for how they feel.

    Which is all completely irrelevant, as none of these reasons, true or otherwise, somehow makes marriage a good deal for men. It doesn’t matter who’s fault it is…because it’s no fault divorce.

    Seriously, if the stats were reversed and it was men initiating divorce (which makes no sense) it would still be a s~~~ty deal because men get screwed over in the divorce. If anybody were ever serious about killing the divorce rate in this country, the obvious solution would be to remove divorce cash and prizes. Anything else is just hot air.

    Ok. Then do it.
