    Common core is fking stupid! Shortest distance is a straight line. Common core wants kids to follow the bend, rather than take the straight line.

    I am trying think of any reasons to value the intellectual class whom knowingly work to teach commoners the wrong answers to problems, to keep the commoners dumb and ignorant. I have yet to come up with any such reasons to value them.

    Nice to see our educators be more encouraging of students in math. I mean it’s not like there’s a shortage of people who like math so this is no biggie.

    FFS. Is this due to teachers now being amongst the least intelligent beings on the planet due to the influx of morons with liberal arts degrees doing a conversion course and becoming teachers?

    There are good teachers around but they are often leaving the profession due to the stupidity of government legislation.

    We need to put more money into private and charter schools. Public schools are f~~~ed beyond repair. I’m gonna try my best, but i know i will eventually be pushed out of a teaching role and into an administrative role to get me and my ideas out of the classroom. Can’t have this black conservative in class telling kids to think for themselves and look up to people like Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams and don’t be so quick to give Obama a thumbs up.

    The teachers unions are failing these schools. If that were not the case, then why are so many of these schools failing?

    If a teacher pulled that s~~~ when I was that age I would have got suspended.

    Especially at that age I would have come unglued.
    To penalize a child for getting the correct answer and doing it in a faster way.

    Not only is it unfair not to accept the child’s incorrect answer, but the teacher is doing great harm in fact by giving students the impression that 5×3 and 3×5 are somehow different in some vague but meaningful way. I can imagine the nightmares these kids will experience in upper level math classes will all the misconceptions they’re being force-fed by these moronic teachers.

    Math is so f~~~ing easy. If you find it hard, barring learning disorders, the problem isn’t you: it was your teacher.

    Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.
