Because online dating didn’t suck badly enough already OK Cupid has made a few changes. This is sure to drive ALL the men from their sight. Skip to the bottom for a summary or read the whole thing and marvel at the audacity of these f~~~ing c~~~s!

    https://theblog.okcupid.com/why-okcupid-is-changing-how-you-message-f14d492e7853

Why OkCupid is changing how you message
A guide to why we’re getting rid of open-messaging and how it works

[SNIP…] We’ve also spoken to dozens of women about their experiences on OkCupid, and have heard the same sentiment over and over again: OkCupid can be overwhelming when you’re receiving tons of messages, even when the majority of them are well-meaning or fine enough — but not from the people you’re really looking for.

We want to fix that. We’ve tried filters. We’ve had members take a pledge. We’ve encouraged people to write better messages. We’ve seen some improvements, but unwanted messages can still slip through. So, we’re making a fairly radical design change that’s currently available to test markets on desktop, mobile web and the latest version of the app (download here for iOS and here for Android): first messages appear on the profile of the sender and only on the profile of the sender. Yes, you deserve an explanation, and unlike that guy who ghosted after three seemingly pleasant dates, we’ll give you one. So now that you know what we’re doing, here’s the how and the why.

Messages are now just for the people you like
Now all of your messages will be from people you’ve liked. We don’t want to inundate you with messages from people you’ve passed on, or people who’ve messaged you that you haven’t liked yet.

Someone messaging you still works the same.
Take Kaleb, for example (see below). He likes Mona’s profile and messages her to start a conversation.

But what’s changed is that, since Mona hasn’t liked Kaleb yet, his message won’t appear in her Messages screen.

Don’t worry, she can still see his message. You see, we’ve got a lot of love for people who make the first move, so if someone you haven’t liked yet messages you, we’ll promote them to you and let you know they’ve messaged you in DoubleTake, Discovery and Search.

So now, like Mona, you’ll see them in DoubleTake or Search and then can read their message once you go to their profile. If you like them from there (like Mona likes Kaleb), only then will their message appear on your Messages screen.

Saying “hello” (and then a little more) is the best way to catch someone’s eye
A lot has changed, but the golden rule remains the same: message someone you like. It’s the best way to catch their eye, especially if you take some time to write a thoughtful message
that says more than “hey.” Find a common interest, comment on their photo from Machu Picchu, ask them why they put seven things under “Six things I can’t live without.”
For a refresher: If they’ve already liked you, you’ll show up in their Messages. And if they haven’t, we play wingman; when you message someone who hasn’t liked you (yet), we promote your profile in DoubleTake so you show up to them sooner. We’ll also let them know that you’ve sent them a message. If they want to read it, they’ll see it on the profile but they’ll have to like you, too, to respond — because that’s how friendships/hookups/relationships begin.

We’re excited about improving messaging on OkCupid. First we added the pass button and liking before messaging, and now all of this. We know change can be rough, and we appreciate you working with the new system and seeing how it goes. We strongly believe it will make OkCupid a better experience for everyone; we’ve experimented with it and tested it and discussed many iterations and alternatives. But if it doesn’t, we’ll see how we can change it again and again. Even if it does make for a much better experience, we’ll continue to work on it to make it as great as possible. So until our next update — happy dating!

So IOW not only will these bitches not even get men’s messages, in most cases, but we are still supposed to put the same amount of time and effort into creating them. Or to put it still another way OK Cupid just went out of business. And that’s something I think we can ALL cheer!

    Snatch.

All my life I've had doubts about who I am, where I belonged. Now I'm like the arrow that springs from the bow. No hesitation, no doubts. The path is clear. And what are you? Alive. Everything else is negotiable. Women have rights; men have responsibilities; MGTOW have freedom. Marriage is for chumps. Well I am assuming these changes work for ALL OKCupid users.

I would think a lot of guys will like this to keep certain womens posts from appearing too.

Even beyond this, online dating is just horrid. If you are still wasting time there…

Women want everything, but want responsibility and accountability for nothing.

I don’t get it. The system informs women that men have messaged them, so they’re going to read the messages anyway.

The complaints about receiving too many messages aren’t real. Women love all the attention. They only complain about it as an underhanded way of letting everyone know how popular they are.

EDIT: Lol, I just looked at the comments. Even the community of die-hard blue-pills is p~~~ed.

Women are better at multitasking? Fucking up several things at once is not multitasking.

So they have now made it even harder for men to make contact with someone all because women are already spoiled for choice?

A dating site without men isn’t going to last very long.

This is a coded way to empower HYPERGAMY. Think about what I just said and then go back and read that deal. It makes a difference doesn’t it?

    OkStupid is becoming Tinder then.

According to this OkStupid survey, 75% of women and nearly 60% of men on that site consider themselves feminist.

They can all go suck a dick as far as i’m concerned.

OKCupid has always been very Left. The thing is there used to be some half decent looking women on it. Now they are all raging Feminazi’s.

Well, these women won’t have to worry about unwanted attention from men when they reach THE WALL!

Besides that, you can bypass the OKCupid firewall by talking to women offline. I’ve heard that people still meet each other that way.

"I saw that there comes a point, in the defeat of any man of virtue, when his own consent is needed for evil to win-and that no manner of injury done to him by others can succeed if he chooses to withhold his consent. I saw that I could put an end to your outrages by pronouncing a single word in my mind. I pronounced it. The word was ‘No.’" (Atlas Shrugged)

Ok so, if she’s ‘liked’ your profile your messages to her show up in her inbox. If she hasn’t liked your profile yet, your messages show up in basically a spam bucket she has to go to in order to see all the messages from all the other randos that have messaged her. So basically she’ll never see it.

Hot: Anything done by a guy she wants to f~~~ or thinks she can get money from.

Creepy: Anything done by a guy she doesn’t want to f~~~ or can’t get money from.

Making the first move is the ultimate s~~~ test. In an environment where ANY action directed at a woman can be seen as potentially criminal, is it really worth it?
