    Not disagreeing with your same punishment statement, but do you really think he didn’t enjoy it? Do you believe she forced him to have sex?

    I agree the punishment should be the same, or the lack of punishment should be the same, but I doubt she forced him to do anything he didn’t want to do. When I was in high school, before all this nonsense began, we had a male teacher dating a female student and all was fine. They even wound up getting married. It’s not such a bad thing for a teacher to date a student. The bad thing is of course how the law treats men now for doing it.

    So label me however you will, but I would’ve enjoyed having sex with a teacher that looked like her when I was 14……….and I probably couldn’t have kept my mouth shut either, ’cause I’d have been bragging to all my friends.

    Girls enjoy sex too. Everyone does. It doesn’t make it more or less legal. Do you think if this were a 14yo girl and a male teacher that it would be non-consensual?

    The point is, it’s a crime because of age, not consent.
