I don’t play too much anymore, but I really used to enjoy doing some blues s~~~ in my spare time, particularly after a 45 gallon drum of beer or so.

I picked up a 1999 Fender American Standard Stratocaster off of Kijiji, and thought I’d fire off a clip for you guys.  Sorry, my camera makes s~~~ videos to begin with and the Vimeo site seems to have reduced quality a bit.

This is an Ash body, all stock electronics, played through a Line-6 Spyder Digital Amplifier.  Slight overdrive, full reverb.  I use a cut off Snap On 5/8″ spark plug socket as a slide.

    Cheers!

Nice chops man! Guitar sounds great!  Used to play a fair bit years ago myself and “one of these days” I’ll get back into it again.  Thinking a Gibson flying V would be cool 😉 Playing a few songs is always a great way to shift gears for a bit. Cleanses the mind – like going out for a jog.

Thanks bro.  Now a Flyin’ V!  That’s something I havent played in a longgggggg time.  That’s a wicked old guitar.  When I was heavily into Judas Priest I owned one; always hated playing it sitting down though, that’s for sure.

There really is no sound like a Gibson though.

I love it! I have a pal who heads a local rock band. Like you, he loves the electric guitar … and his is a Fender too.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?
