Has anyone watched this TV show before?
I just watched the pilot episode. It’s sooooo good and the show demonstrates a lot of the things that we, mgtows, talk about. The show is rated 8.1 on imdb.

here’s a quote from the pilot episode:
The husband wants to go to the basketball game but the wife won’t let him. He threatens to go anyways. She threatens back:
“Before you go, i would just like to say 3 things. The bank book is in both of our names, the credit cards are in both of our names, and the stores are still open (she smirks)”

——–another quote, this time from the husband
“Nowadays, its harder to figure out where her chest ends and her stomache begins!”

MGTOW is not a movement, it is a way of life.

That show is a classic,Al Bundy pretty much fell for the marriage bait and now has a slut for a daughter,a loser for a son (who cant get laid to save his life),and a naggy irritating wife who only cares to look cute to go no where. His sanctuary is his dog, beer, couch, and an occasional nostalgic episode of his glory years pre-marriage. Its a good red pill show of the awakening while married, very hilarious but depressingly a reality at the same time. Go for it man,you wont regret the binge.

Never lose sight of what brought you here.

You remember that letter campaign against MWC with hundred of letters sent to Fox News. Years later it came out that the letters were all sent by three women. With them copying the letters they made hundreds of times.

And Fox never even opened the letters to see if the letters were legit. Fox just used those letters as excuse to put the screws to the MWC production crew.

One of the few things Al really enjoyed doing, and something when his whole family would uniquely back him up – fighting!

I used to love that show. It was always on late at night so I was either p~~~ed up or stoned or both so I might have thought it was funnier than it actually was. I’ll look forward to re-visiting it to find out.

I still remember seeing the first very episode back in 1987 along with my Mom. We were both hooked from that moment onward.

Later, I’d go to my friend’s place, and we’d get baked and watch it. A Sunday night ritual for too many years. I quit watching towards the end, because I started dating this uptight wench and being blue pill. I betrayed Al.

I still catch it on reruns periodically. It’s still just as good so that’s a true classic. Maybe, Al Bundy influenced me to never get married.

@spacemonkey: It’s just as funny sober too.
