I remember back when this site had 11K men-bers….now 16K!!!
This site now looks better, has more features, and has better speed.

We’ve come a long way. I am very confident that there is a bright future ahead!

if mgtow was a stock, I would certainly purchase shares of the MGTOW LLC. such a great investment!

It’s so much fun to see you guys actually be PART of the celebration.

Someone in the know (and an advisor I trust) said “get rid of that member counter. Nobody cares.”.. and while I saw and understood the reasons he thought it should be removed, I said “you’re wrong about the nobody cares part”. Then I showed him the threads and how everyone joins in like a real & true community to celebrate the landmarks we have hit in the past.

I think it’s important for the first 20K or 25K and then after that , maybe bring it back for 50K and 100K. But otherwise it’s actually quite heavy and counts all the members every time the homepage is hit.

We have made some aggressive moves to speed the site up and it’s really been worth it. Updating the member counter once daily (instead of live) is a small part of it, but it makes a difference.

I the last 7 days since our improvements, the site is FLYING without a hitch. (we made two small mistakes which broke since the move , but fixed them very fast). Otherwise it’s rockin’. We can’t wait to push some new stuff, but have to leave it alone for a couple more days and just let it run without fussing with it.

( That’s the problem with tweaks. You need to wait a few days to see that they worked and make a difference. If it doesn’t, you need to revert and try again. )

Welcome to all the new members and the veterans like you guys.
And big thanks to all of you for maintaining the atmosphere we set out to create.

It will grow organically so why watch it, really. Quality members are better than volume, so the number (and popularity) doesn’t count much here. If we wanted to be “popular”, we would just create a website for women ,and collect likes by the millions by publishing one horses~~~ feminist article after another.

So if you want to throw numbers around, 20K by Christmas is a probability. The speed increases made such a huge difference, could be more. Too early for prediction.

I would hate to see the count go away, but it could be just once a week or once a month. I think it’s reassuring to see the men-ber count increase. And I think it helps men on the fence see just how many other men are in the same boat. Sometimes just knowing your not the only one coming to the same conclusion reaffirms that you’re not crazy.

Even just a nod every time we increase by another 1,000 would be cool. It would be interesting to see how fast it took to reach each 1,000 new men-bers. But then again, I am an accountant…….

That was just days after our current new members system. That was a major overhaul (if you remember the lost avatars fiasco) . We saw a decline in daily signups since then…. because now EVERY members has to verify their email, wait for approval to post, and use strong passwords. That was new on 10.22 and it’s a little more of a hurdle to join than previously but at least we are now liberated from all the off-the chart trolling.

You will notice how much fewer there are these days. Thank f~~~ for that.

(I don’t even want to talk about how many weekends I threw away on that crap. We have s~~~ to do!)

I agree with this sentiment. Even the bluepill men have their doubts, but they suppress them simply because of how powerful and pervasive cultural gaslighting is.

And while I’m rather new to the manosphere, I am however a voracious reader, and so have consumed thousands and thousands of posts and comments from all of the main MGTOW sources. Something I’ve noticed is how impermanent so many of those sources are. But MGTOW.com seems to have the most stable community as well as the most professional looking site. If the site continues just as it is (let alone improving it even more), I have no doubt it is the future of all things MGTOW.

One million subscribers or more in the years to come is not an unreasonable thing to expect.

It feels good to buck the system and go your own way. No marriage for me. Everything that i wanna do and everywhere i wanna go, i can do much faster if i’m not married and tied down. It’s a very simple equation: Wife and Kids = MiniVan, countless bills, and exhaustion.

No wife and no kids = Freedom to do whatever the F~~~ YOU WANT TO DO!!!!!!!

Go buy that new truck, hell buy two of them. Buy that boat, build your house. Go on vacation, become a shareholder in different businesses. Have a foreign bank account. Live right and f~~~ the bulls~~~.

You are so right, a man is happy for a few months with a girl them it gets worse and worse, he can’t see it he is trained. Then like a drone he marries as the girl and her family suggest it , time and time again… A man being good wants to help make people happy so he agrees… Then married, loyalty and being decent he stays it’s gets worse… One day he wakes up and thinks I am not happy… Wasted years wasted money, wasted effort.
