    It’s retribution for Egypt’s refusal to chose a side between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
    Those responsible may have made a big miscalculation. Egypt’s secret service aren’t stupid and will quickly come to a conclusion that will not benefit the Saudis… Unless they want a proxy war on Egyptian soil.

    Probably group called ‘Sinai Province’, ISIS affiliated, run by them from Syria – targeting Egyptian gov supporters because they ousted islamist president Morsi in 2013. They want an autonomous Islamic State in Sinai to hit the Israelis from.

    I was two days sailing south from Port Suez when news came through to our ship that Egypt had had a coup back in 2011. We had picked up weapons from there prior to our latest anti-piracy transit.

    Two months later we came back and my team disembarked at Suez; no more friendly corrupt Egyptian customs cops, just tanks and squads of troops at every road junction from Suez to Cairo. Guns and me stayed on board until Malta (more transit pay for me on half wages and a bit of sunbathing).

    They’ll hit the European tourists hard very soon these Sinai boys. Go to Spain instead.

    Yes, they killed Sufi Muslims that are seen as heretics by ISIS. There are still Christians in the area and they are very much in danger because of these groups.

    ISIS will kill all the Coptic Christians, if they are not stopped.

    Seems that the U.S. is intent on staying in Syria as well now, ever after their supposed uninvited reason for being there is pretty much cleaned up (ISIS). And the U.S./Israel will continue to support ISIS where they are doing their bidding, so yea, down but not out. If the West wanted them out, they would be out. 400,000 dead in Syria now, mostly due to Western support. All part of Israel’s long term war plans to first beat up Iran’s allies then get at them as well one day.     ISIS beheaded a load of its own fighters the other day due to infighting.

    It’s just insane.

    Regards the bombing in Egypt – it’s terrible for the innocents caught up in this but my brain lacks the band width to process so much bad news so I can’t process it.

    Whichever side that is not backed by the Israeli’s.

    Israel touts itself as being the only Democracy over there (a lie really) yet they never stop working to undermine Democracies all around them, Egypt is just one example as Morsi was Democratically elected.

    The Sufi are Gnostic Muslims and pacifists, I met a Sufi on the internet and we became friends. Sad that anyone would kill them. The Sufi and Druze are Gnostic sects. Many Druze live in Israel due to persecution from the main Islamic factions.

    305 dead, 30 attackers – platoon sized, probably different sections and fireteams. This was well planned and executed. They were carrying IS flags.
