    I just read this article about this 11 yr old boy who noticed that the gap was adverstising mostly toward girls. He said to his mom that “boys are insignificant”. Wow this kid already figured it out? GOOD FOR HIM! He’s already one leg up!

    You know, I am not that surprised! Smart kid. I was MGTOW as young as 12. For real, at 12 I KNEW……I freaking KNEW that I would be MGTOW for life (even though I had no idea at the time that there was a word MGTOW).

Real men don’t “layer” their clothes. They just wear them.”

    The t-shirt really only costs $ 3 . But they charge $ 40 because women will pay it if you can “empower” them to think shopping there will make them an astrophysicist….. and they need the extra $ 37 to outfit GAP™ employees with a microphone & headset to make them “feel like” Janet Jackson…. and “look really busy”.

    It’s all a bunch of Gap.

    I’m convinced. I’m officially boycotting GAP until they publicly acknowledge this shortcoming and correct it. And simply correcting it is not enough – they need to publicly acknowledge that they have participated in an injustice done upon the male gender.

    That’s a good point – I’ve never bought anything there either. They do however own other stores. According to the ‘paedia de wiki:

    Gap North America $834 million
    Banana Republic North America $475 million
    Old Navy North America $1.18 billion
    International $369 million
    Gap Inc Direct $267 million

    So we need to boycott Old Navy too. I did buy something from there once several years back.

    I know this, I learned not to trust t~~~s from a young age and have for the most part stayed away from them and especially since when they were trusted they had no problem violating that trust.

    Exactly this. Stores like The Gap don’t market $40 t-shirts to men because they know men won’t buy them.

    This also explains the insanity of women’s clothing “sizes”. When a man goes to buy a pair of pants he looks for a pair that matches his waist and inseam, and those numbers are printed plainly on the packaging. He can walk into the store, grab a pair that match his size, and walk right out again knowing his new pants will fit.

    But not women.

    Women’s clothes are not measured in sensible inches or centimeters. No, they are given meaningless labels like “size six” or “petite”, and one “size six” is never the same size as another “size six”. So women have no choice but to try on each article to see if it will fit them anyways. Clearly putting size labels on clothes has nothing to do with telling female customers if they will fit or not. No, it’s all about stroking women’s egos. A fat woman is FAR more likely to pay $60 for 50¢ worth of cheap cotton is it’s labeled “petite”.

    If you listen carefully you can even see this difference in thinking, male functionality versus female ego, in the way each sex talks about clothes.

    A man will say he’s “looking for a pair of pants that fit.”

    A woman will say she’s “looking for a cute blouse her size.” HER size. Her special snowflake size.

    @keymaster: “Layering” is such BS. Where do they come up with this s~~~? And how about those shirts that are semi-transparent or lace or have holes through them in all the wrong places? They’re absolutely USELESS because you have to wear ANOTHER shirt under them! F~~~ing $85 for the useless top shirt and another $50 for the bottom one. I wear a f~~~ing $12 t-shirt and women buy s~~~ like this. It blows my mind.

    @sidecar: I know. Women’s sizes are f~~~ing ridiculous. It’s even the same with shoes. One shoe is a size 7 and the other one is an 8 or 9 and they refuse to buy it because it “makes my feet look big.” No, dips~~~. That shoes’ size 9 has the exact inside dimensions as your current shoes’ size 7. That shoe isn’t a clodhopper just because it’s labeled differently. Just buy the damned thing and let’s get out of here! You thought the f~~~er was “cute” before you found out that it was a size 9. F~~~ing ridiculous.
