Its funny how women desire men with goals but are hellbent on changing those goals once the man commits. My theory is that a women is less interested in the goals themselves and is more interested in the mans ABILITY to have goals. Having goals shows intelligence and foresight, things women desire in order to have a suitable man father their kids. This is why I do not under any circumstances take a female’s criterion for men seriously.

I think they want a man to have goals that will be of use to THEM. Anything can be a goal, wanting to drink a beer in every city in the world is a goal but that doesn’t mean anything to them, wanting to acquire wealth on the hand by working hard and buying property well that would impress the hell out of them, not because it interests them but because they can ride the wave of benefits.

Also if the man’s goals clash with their own beliefs that will be another red flag to them.

In the film “What women want” Mel Gibson’s character hears women’s thoughts, he hears one woman thinking to herself about how she would like a man to approach her. So the next day he approaches her and does just what she was thinking, she knocks him back and seems oblivious to her thoughts the previous day. This to me is what this article is a wish list written by a woman that if followed by a man will fail.

1) They are lying about the money part, evolution drives women to want men whom they perceive as providers.  They only want a man who has goals, if they are in line with the goals they want – which almost always becomes a “ring watch” and/or baby lust. They may seem turned on with your love of rock climbing, and your passionate ambition to climb “Mt.X” – until it interferes with their goals which are subject to change at any time.

2) First paragraph = false.  Second = true.  Third = false.

3) Women are never happy. Take her to dinner, compliment on her looks that night, etc-etc-etc.  Then someday she will point out that it wasn’t romantic enough for reason [x], and say something like “all those dates, you never got me flowers!”. You could have dropped $1k that night, did a dozen great things, but there will always be that one thing you left out – that she is waiting for but won’t tell you.  Women need validation 24/7, it’s actually pitiful from a man’s point, their ego needs to be constantly pumped – the author doesn’t realize they are actually admitting the fact.

4) Lies.  If you move to “cuddling on the couch” too quickly, they will get bored.  This is such an utter lie, especially about the partying, otherwise the “bad boy complex” would not be such a stereotype for women.  The only women who want to “move to the couch”, are the ones with ticking clocks and are on the ring watch.

5) Hypocritical. Being a good listener implies that the woman herself is interesting, when many don’t realize how vapid they sound.  Women assuming everything they have to say is important, it is a classic double standard.

Only a woman would write such an article, she clearly knows nothing about men.

My take from what I see would be a MGTOW perspective on this is (note my biases here): Lady, you got it all wrong.  It isn’t a case of a man needing to go through all these hoops, but the woman asking what she needs to do, and become, to be able to get a MGTOW.  That is presuming she is worth the time of a MGTOW and is even remotely interesting.

The question is: Can you keep up with where a MGTOW is heading, not what must he do to placate you?  There is this inane generic advice sites like that give, that don’t even have a man ask what he is looking for, but instead, try to have him change and get a lottery ticket.
