In news media an echo chamber is a metaphorical description of a situation in which information, ideas, or beliefs are amplified or reinforced by transmission and repetition inside an “enclosed” system, where different or competing views are censored, disallowed, or otherwise underrepresented.

This is how wikipedia defines and echo chamber, I would say to a very limited extent this is the truth. I think criticism rather than being censored is instead showcased, which does sort of ruin the echo chamber.

I’m not sure I agree with the “echo chamber” comparison. MGTOW do not (generally) strive for external validation, they provide insight and ideas for other struggling to get away from the need for such validation.

In the Echo chamber, there is one right thought and all others are not welcome. The unwelcome is enforced by the keepers of the chamber (admins) and reported by the membersheep. I seem to remember that even in my brief time Keymaster and I have had more than few disagreements already. I couldn’t liken it to an echo chamber simply because there a few core principles we (mostly) all agree on.

But what I am trying to address here is the “social programming” issue. Under this view it does not matter if you are in a proper discussion board. It is even better if you are not, because your programming becomes subliminar.

Most members here become weary of mainstream social networks, social media, and even news or magazines. Why? Because they are constantly feeding us with blue pill ideas, that we know are wrong. THIS is the programming.

There is no discussion in mass media. You have no say in how a movie will portrait things. We are subjected to what is know as the “vox populi“, the voice of the people. Except that “the people” have no voice in the matter, only a handful of “illuminated” that are given the podium.

The idea in this post is that MGTOW is the only place of full acceptance of the red pill knowledge. In a mainstream forum the level of acceptation of these ideas is very low to none. In fact, we might take a lot of aggravation for it.

Any sane person would start doubt itself if the only thing he receives is the message “you are wrong”. But it is all around us. Therefore we need the MGTOW forum as an immunization against blue pill programming.

Words and concepts are tricky things. One word can say a lot, but it can say wrong things because its meaning is different for other people.

My meaning is that we talk essentially about red pill knowledge. THAT is the base of this site in my view.

Each one may have a different interpretation of that knowledge, and that may lead to a discussion. That discussion can be constructive or just a bunch of name calling guys taking sides. That is a human thing that we see everywhere.

One of us may say “women are evil”, and others may disagree saying “its their nature”. However the base remains, its: women’s behavior.

Go to youtube and you will be surprised by the number of MGTOW videos proposed “just for you”. That is because google filters things based on your past preferences, you see only what relates to you.
Any google search is different for different people. The facebook content is also individually generated.

And nobody complains about it. In fact everyone likes it!

What they fail to understand is the inherent threat of this. One day these companies will not try to customize what you see to please you, but to make you think differently.

These are very powerful things. They play with us at conscious and subconscious level.

Perhaps it is our duty to pay it forward in a manner to be an echo chamber to the men that find their way here. Coming up on one year for me, I found this site the night I was at my lowest and the gentlemen were here for me.

This topic is about something I have been thinking for a long time, and was aligned with Snake’s post about MGTOW being an “echo chamber”.

I agree, and I think its necessary for this “echo chamber” to exist.

I believe that we are subjected to social programming. Much like in the matrix, we are inserted in a machine that requires our acceptance of the program. Resist the program and you are cast out of the matrix.

That is why I think ghosting is required. If one shows not to conform to the norm, then it is targeted for persecution.

When a person sees the reality outside the conditioning, then they will suddenly be alone. The first thing anyone says to himself is: there must be something wrong with me!

Its amazing how in every introduction post we can find this phrase.

And almost every time that person will take a blue pill, forget the reality they had a momentary glimpse of, and return to the oficial party line. Until such day that it is to painful, or to obvious, to keep avoiding.

The lucky ones find others that have seen the same things and confirm for the first time that we are not crazy!

So, I cannot overstate the importance of us being here and restating our findings. This is an active countermeasure to social conditioning.

Anyone that is alone, surrounded by the constant bombardment of mind control messages, is prone to doubt himself.
