I took the red pill far earlier than most, as a college student entering my 20's. I went through phases of denial, self-loathing, and soul-searching before finally becoming aware of the situation. It is shocking just how gynocentric the university community is. Here is where you can see it all: the hypergamy, the carousel rides, and the mind games. I emerged as a MGTOW after rediscovering myself and learning that I can live without validation from others. Prior to this, I was a simp who put women on a pedestal. It didn't help that I had (and still have) a shy, highly-introverted personality. This bad combination led me to a nasty phase of being a textbook example of a TFL: I believed that I was cursed and started to deeply hate myself. After some time alone, I regained some of my confidence and began to respect myself again. I also began to question why society (especially its female elements) treats men of average or humbler means as second-class citizens. This question led me to the YouTube MGTOW community: Sandman, MGTOW 101, Red Pill Germany, Insensitive Bastard, and so on. I also noticed many non-MGTOW channels describing similar themes as a growing number of libertarians and skeptics are either supporting (or at least voicing sympathy for) those who go their own way. As for myself, taking the red pill has revived my confidence and has resurrected my ambition. I am working towards my physical fitness and getting a job as an engineer.

Seeing university social life for what it truly is: Hypergamy 101
