We all know that the ladies like to spend, spend, spend. They account for about 80% of consumer spending. They go in debt, and rely on bf/husband/fathers to bail them out. Or, they use divorce courts.

Some men like to save, save, save. Other men like to spend but they ensure that their expenses are lower than their income. ((don’t forget about income tax, since our socialist gov wants to pay single mothers by stealing money from hard working men))

I recently started a company (last week) called GC Financial. Instead of laughing at women struggling with money, my company makes money from these women.

Do they desire such a service? I’m not trying to be a downer on your idea, but it just seems like your market is unicorn women. I’m not convinced its in the average woman’s wheelhouse to take responsibility and plan and invest.

Its nothing strange that women spend 80%, I was expecting it to be closer to 95%.
The older Men get, the less things they need to be happy, thus, they spend less and less.
The older women get (and loose their looks), the more they need to think they are happy (because everything and everyone says so, it must be true), thus they spend more and more.

You dont need extensive studies about it, just look around you and try to find a woman that behaves differently (there are some, just, very few).

I work with a woman my age (32) and every time she talks about buying some s~~~ she knows she does not need I look at her with a “really?” face and she always just laughs. She knows its stupid and she knows she does not need it, but she wants it.

Its just their nature to want more and more. No point trying to pretend otherwise.

The thing is what we spend is significantly more interesting. Men spend on important stuff; house/apartment, car, electricity, internet/phone, down payment of credit card debt etc.

Women, on the other hand – and I’ve witnessed this myself, and I am very certain you all have seen this – well, women spend on clothes, shoes, makeup and superfluous stuff that in the grand scheme of things are not that important.

So, the thing isn’t how much more they spend, but on what garbage they throw money at.
