Radio personality Tom Leykis has been known to say “Women are dream-killers”.

It’s very rare to see such an honest moment in film when “relationship” movies are generally so gynocentric and female oriented, and the man is too often falling over himself to please and appease the female. This one realizes – in advance – the lost opportunity costs of getting too involved ( especially in your 20s ) when a man is more rewarded to be directly focussed on achieving his dreams and carving a path for himself.
