Seeing as women are interested in equality and not double standards, let’s turn that around and pose the question to her:

I think this actually is starting to happen more…more guys are starting to realize getting financially involved with a woman with significant student loan/credit card/car debt is a toxic choice for their financial well being.  I don’t think they openly get the advice from parents or other elders like young women are openly encouraged to seek a financially successful partner, but I think this is a conclusion a lot of guys are coming to simply by watching people they know get f~~~ed over, or from a common sense approach that marrying someone with a ton of debt and a low paying job is placing an unfair financial burden on them, and they’d be better off with that money put towards investments or assets in their name instead of paying off a woman’s past mistakes.

But hey, women wanted equality, if men are starting to consider a potential partners financial well being when determining whether or not she is worth getting involved with, this is equality, isn’t it?  Women have been doing this since the beginning of time, its about time men start to do it as well.
