I am seeing the latest round with some African-American MGTOW channel dropping MGTOW, and saying they won’t do MGTOW videos any longer, because white MGTOW aren’t empathetic enough for their plight as black men.  There is a sense of being betrayed here, like they believe MGTOW is some sort of brotherhood with other men getting their back.

Here is one video I saw that shows this expectation not being met:

I came here to escape the feminist bulls~~~ and get some advice and regain my sanity. I’ve got more respect for the men here which I have never met than the women I have known in the past personally.

My image of a brother is someone who lets me go my own way.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

His video is off base and irrelevant.

Mgtow is more of an idea and philosophy rather than a brotherhood.

There may be a bar at the Way station(MGTOW), where you can drink and talk about your experiences before going out, and you may take a walkie talkie with you, in case you desire advice or a second opinion, but it was never a place to gather a group to follow, then it would never be your own way, and certainly not you becoming your own master.

If this guy wants to discuss issues that are not related to manhood, he just needs to find the right forum for his topic on the internet.

Also I don’t really get how someone can walk away from walking his own way. We are not an organisation. We are individuals who talk about living a self determined life. Who ever doesn’t want to share, is free not to.

After all I don’t feel like we should be sad, that he doesn’t want to join us. His mind seems too confused to contribute any clarity.

Absolutely!
I think of MGTOW as a meeting spot (tavern) for hikers who are hiking their own trails. It doesn’t matter how much you “like” to hike alone, you’ll always have to stop somewhere to refurnish supplies and get the occasional company of like minded men.
This is certainly not a brotherhood with set headquarters and fixed working hours.

By the way, can someone explain this one to me: Why do African-American men call each other brothers?  If they went to the same church, I understand this term. But the phrase “my brothers” that is used among African-American men who don’t know each other.  I don’t get this greeting at all.  Just because you share some attribute or suffering with them, doesn’t mean they are your brother.  Note that I consider the use of the term brother to actually mean something.

My take on MGTOW interacting, is that it is like a mesh network (think Internet), where MGTOW can connect and disconnect whenever they want, and connect with whomever they want, to exchange whatever is necessary.  I just keep seeing men wanting it to be more than that, and I think there is disappointment when it isn’t for those.

Everyone cares about everyone here irrespective of race, I can see that. I just spent a lot of time researching and bringing attention to the flight of the men in Africa who are being subjected to MC. Why are these men not making a video about this issue? How can we not be representing ALL men?!

The fact they are splitting off like this says more about them than MGTOW. I don’t see anything here that would cause them to split off, nothing said here has had any racial context until they brought the race card into the debate.

MGTOW is a brotherhood, but because our society has conditioned men in a way that we are not allowed to express our emotions and get positive validation from other men the way women are allowed, it is more difficult for men to have empathy for their fellow man to the point of forming a strong social group.

Unfortunately the African-Americans splitting off will now be interpreted that MGTOW is a bigoted bastion of racists, which could be no further from the truth. Sadly society has also conditioned us so much that we can’t question women or racial issues without being labelled as irrelevant and extremists. The sad truth is the social conditioners have won.

You know when the social conditioners have won when you have to edit your post here to make sure you don’t offend anyone. MGTOW is the only place I have been that is a bastion of free speech and I have not been censored here. Sadly the fact I have to edit my post because I might offend MGTOW of other races means something has happened in MGTOW as a result of the African-American split that I fear will divide and cause MGTOW to crumble. I can only hope you guys can keep the movement together and going strong into the future and not worry about anyone trying to de-rail the MGTOW message.
