2/ Probably some shaming campaign that will attract more men to MGTOW.

3/ Bit of both in some respects.

They can try all of these … but it will have no grip….. and it may even have the opposite outcome and drive men to mgtow.

This is a broad question so I will narrow it down to 3 questions only. 1 – How long before MGTOW reaches critical mass and attracts political scrutiny ?

I think MGTOW already has critical mass in the sense that it has its own momentum and is spreading, but in any case it’s just a term to describe something that has always existed in some form or another.  I assume the term was invented because feminisation itself is now dominant, or becoming so, and in response somebody decided to invent a term and acronmyn for what a lot of men already think.

I expect nothing of substance.  Political and legislative action will be inadequate against a social force such as this, mainly because in ‘democratic’ societies women hold at least 50% of the vote, a fact that politicians and policy-makers cannot ignore, and so any action will be entirely reactive (and probably short-termist, ill-thought and panic-driven) and will, in its effect, be akin to patting fog.  You may see something clever, like a ‘New Feminist’ movement that panders to the tradcons and MRA types.  Probably women will feign anger at feminism and you’ll see a backlash against the militant types, and some of it will be sincere as women will be worried.  Many – probably most – men will fall for the ‘old wine in new bottles’ trick for a while, but all it can do is delay the inevitable.  They can’t stop this – they’re f~~~ed.

Marriage as an institution is already collapsing in the West and has been for around 20-25 years: partly as a result of secular attitudes and partly because men increasingly have become aware that it’s a bad deal.  Men who insist on common law marriages and long-term partnerships as a substitute for marriage aren’t MGTOW: in fact, they’re the opposite, still very much Blue Pill, but they are the soft underbelly, if you like, of broader changes in social attitudes.  For some, these attitudes will harden and they will become MGTOW, and the government can do nothing about this and cannot take any effective preventative action.  MGTOW floats in the air and exists in the aether.  There is no organisation, structure or hierarchy to attack.

Steps can be taken to alleviate the problem – immigration of families, tax incentives for marriage and civil partnership and so on, but these only address the symptoms, they do not tackle the root of the problem.

I’m trying to be, yes.  I now grow my own vegetables and I have plans to move off the grid eventually, not because of MGTOW-related issues specifically, but just for the reason that I think it’s generally a sound contingency.

2. Also already started: shaming, attempts at manipulation, linking with racist/terrorist/hate groups. Again, BBC. Soon ABC, CBS, NBC.

I’m not far behind you, . . . . 59 this month. We may not live to see a lot but seeing s~~~ hit the fan would be nice  for me before I turn to dust.
