Every time I’ve told them that they are making a really bad choice I get the “You’ve never been married or had kids so you don’t understand.” Now I am quite a resilient man but even that quote makes me feel indignant.

The Question: “What would prompt a divorced single dad with a couple of kids & little money to date and move in with a divorced single mum?”

But I have another mate, who’s current girlfriend just dropped $35,000 to buy him a new truck. WTF? I smell desperation, control and something not good coming on her part. But on a positive he’s had a vasectomy.

Yeah, you’re probably correct, something is just not right there.  And I’m not just talking about spending $35k on a truck.  Somehow I think he’ll end up paying for it, one way or another.
