The main character is a woman isn’t it? And it’s JJ Abrams. So it’s going to be feminist BS and a ton of lens flares. I will watch it maybe a few years later or something on BD.

I won’t be lining up to pay for it, but I’m sure I’ll watch it in one way or another in future.

My experience with going to the theater to see Episode I when it came out, fairly stamped out any excitement I’ll ever have for the continuance of the epic thread that is Star Wars.

I’m still p~~~ed off that his death was reduced to that debacle of a jet-pack mishap into the gaping maw of the sarlacc.  Boba was just too cool to go out that way.  He at least deserved a straight shot from Han; even Greedo got that before the digital re-imagining of him “firing first”.  Always liked that battle-worn lookin’ bastard. 🙂

Let’s  make the galaxy’s most badass bounty hunter get killed by accident. Like f~~~ man. RotJ was actually one of the franchises installations I have a problem with. F~~~ing Ewoks.

I suppose, realistically, we only see Fett roll into the mouth of the Sarlacc, and then hear a burping sound.  Hollywood might well be able to pull a tough resourceful guy like that back out of the mouth of death etc. etc.  I hope so.  That was simply too cheap a shot. For god’s sake, they could have at least reserved that nonsense for say, IG-88.  I wouldn’t have minded seeing that over-rated fire hydrant slip down the sand trap.

And yes, I hear ya.  The ROTJ was already pretty disney-esque in proportions.  I could not stop thinking of those Ewoks as Lhasa Apsos or S~~~zhu dogs wearing capes.  It did have some pretty cool s~~~ happen throughout, but I think I know how you feel a bit on that one.
