Should we go back to patriarchy?

Women usually fall into line under patriarchy, like sandman says. DO you think going back to patriarchy would help significantly?

“Back” to patriarchy would mean that we were under one in the first place. I’d be one to argue we never were. Even when women didn’t have the right to vote (among other things) and feminism tarnished everything to be even more in favor of women, men were still working to either raise a family or impress a lady most of the time. I think back to even in the old Greek tales, where the women were practically distractions or the main focus of a male character. Society has always been gynocentric or hypergamous, as well as sex-obsessed.

Oh, please, don’t.

Patriarchy only existed, as far as I can tell, on periods of time where technology was not advanced enough for women to contribute. So men was forced to take the bulk of the work and leadership in order for the whole group to survive. Once Industrial Revolution came, though, patriarchy went out through the window, and women know that. But they kept the myth cause being labeled a victim gives them the power of demand compensation for inexistent crimes.

Going back to patriarchy is what FEMINISM is driving for. They want men to assume all the responsibility, while women get all the benefits/rights. The only thing about feminism though, is that they just don’t hide that anymore.

Either under the old label (where men have their ego inflated), or the new “progressive” one (where don’t get even their ego cared for), a patriarchy would not benefit men… at all!

So, should we go back to patriarchy? Hell, freaking, no.

I can actually agree with this. Unless people ignored women when they talked about a patriarchy existing while a patriarchy actually exists, women thrive on playing the victims of patriarchy.

We absolutely should not. Then the same cycle of female opposition will occur again. When the economy tanks and social values are plundered by liberal feminism/gynocracy, of course women will want men to solve their problems and try to reinstate the male patriarchy. Patriarchy is simply traditional male servitude. If we started this patriarchy today, 100 or so years from now, women will just complain and rebel once again. Is this the kind of vicious cycle anyone wants? I for one do not.

Boy, that’s a greag question.
I agree with my fellows here. We very seldom were under a patriarchy as described by out adversaries.
Maybe when Moses lead the Israelite out of Egypt. That rule was a Patriarchy, if we discount what his wife and her entourage had to say.
Wemins pride themselves to say “Behind every great Man is a great woman.” But yet they bitch about Patriarchy.
Real Patriarchy is what they are against. A society and families lead by Men who want to build something for the sake of future generations, not endulge themselves in raping the natural state of the world.

There’s no such thing as patriarchy. Until someone can pick it up and hand me some to prove otherwise, it doesn’t exist.

It would have to be a process if anything and it has been scientifically proven that men are gender neutral in how they reach decisions and woman and women are gender biased in favour of their own gender by a factor of 4 to 1. Science proves patriarchy doesn’t exist and woman are the sexist ones who hate men.
