The reason I started this thread to to hopefully discuss the political ramifications in as civil a manner as possible.

I want to address my fellow MGTOWs that lean towards the tradcon. I was raised by folks that got x-mas cards from the Reagans and their campaign managers. I get it.

I’m one of the “swing voters” who is oscillating between Republican and just writing in goddamn Bernie Sanders, and this kind of s~~~ from Utah is why.

For anyone leaning tradcon, you have a simple choice. If you want the swing voters like me to vote for your guy, you need to drop the religious bulls~~~. Period. If you need a litmus test, ask yourself honestly if the case can be made that fast food is more damaging to society than whatever it is you want to outlaw or regulate. If any honest and independent assessment would answer that with a “yes” you need to drop it, like yesterday.

Fast food destroys families. Sounds funny right? But the health consequences of a regular diet of it are well known. Children pick up the eating habits of their parents. Premature death of parents due to diet related illness(now more deadly than smoking apparently) tears apart families.

For anyone that is actively in favor of outlawing things like cannabis, porn, prostitution, and other relatively victimless activities, remember the fast food test and vote out of office ANY politician who advocates for ideas that won’t pass it.

This is YOUR choice. You keep voting in religitards like these idiots in Utah and people like me will vote for someone else, even someone as bad as Hillary. As bad as today’s feminism is, it hasn’t produced the Salem Witch trials, or the Inquisition, or the Crusades, or Hitler who was voted into power by the swing vote of the Catholic Center party(yes I went there).

Teh rest of it we like:

Smaller government. This includes the Military and corporate welfare.

Simpler tax system. Accounting should not be one of the most profitable industries.

Individual rights. Including guns. Loves mah guns.

Curtailing the welfare state. I do believe in a safety net. When I was living in my car and going to college I wouldn’t have eaten if not for food stamps. I have since payed back that help a thousandfold and then some. Safety net good, making it a permanent lifestyle bad. There have to be limits and boundaries, and that means some people begging on the streets when their welfare runs out. F~~~ em, they had their chance. Note: I don’t believe this should include GENUINELY disabled people. Alcoholism and being overweight should never be considered a disability.

Immigration: Let’s end the automatic birth citizenship thing. Nobody else in the world does it, and it’s time for a change. We’re not a struggling country that needs settlers anymore.

See how many things we agree on? The only thing keeping you from getting my vote and the millions that think the same way is your religious asshattery. Set it aside when it comes to politics and we’ll get along fine.

This BTW, is one of the only reasons I like Trump – for the most part he leaves the religitardation behind.

Said men realize that anything they save will eventually be stolen by society and given to women and others as a reward for bringing misery to said men. So instead, men strive to live as cheaply as possible, while still living in comfort, under the belief, one cannot squeeze water from a rock.

But I only lean toward “trad con” far enough to say kids should come from two parent households – male and female by the way. Otherwise a house that looks like everyone else’s on the street, in the burbs close to a strip malls and a donut shop…… is my version of hell.

• I’m on the fence about guns.

• Agree on diet! My brother told me he took his kids to Disney world and one morning, at the next table was an obese single mother and two kids who ordered “deep fried french toast”. DEEP. FRIED. FRENCH. TOAST. In the middle of the table was a bottle of orange Fanta (soda).

Not “JUICE”. Soda.

When the plates came, they were HUGE and 4 kids could have shared it. The single mother says “Ok kids you better eat up!! You’re gonna need all your energy today!!!!”.

My brother said he wanted to get up from the table and punch her in the face for cruelty to children.

I like kids, and even though I don’t have any, I sure feel sorry for them sometimes. That’s all I have to say about that.

Except, that I’m all for guns and think it should be mandatory for children to learn how to use a gun at a young age in a professional environment. That’s how my parents taught me. I got to shoot shotguns at trees in the woods when I was about 10. It was awesome as f~~~.

I’m all for guns and think it should be mandatory for children to learn how to use a gun at a young age in a professional environment.

My uncle taught me how to load and shoot a shotgun when I was 12. It looked like shotgun, but it shot pellets. Not bullets. I definitely don’t think it should be “mandatory” for kids on any level.

Kids should learn languages, art, geography, music, creativity, imagination, TRAVEL, music, dance, THINKING, martial arts, judo or whatever and discipline. DISCIPLINE in all those areas… and I don’t mean wrapping them over the knuckles when they under-perform.

ANYTHING but “guns”. I’m not even saying that to challenge.

I worked with a guy who had a knife & gun collection, like Rambo. He whipped one out at work one day(!) and I just about chit myself. Dude was like Rambo. But never once – in all his life – set foot outside of California. That was unfathomable to me.

I just think it would be better for kids so that if they were ever in a survival situation and needed to hunt with weapons such as guns, they’d be able to. It’s like learning basic math in my eyes.

But I definitely get what you’re saying.

I’d actually like to have a knife and gun collection as well. And I couldn’t imagine never setting foot out of a state for your entire life. By the time I was 20 I visited every state in the U.S. except Alaska and Hawaii.

I also get what you’re saying, but catching & cleaning a fish would come in more handy (and more often) than an extreme survival situation or a lesson on guns. Hungry in the woods? Pick some berries. Don’t shoot a deer.

It’s starting to get funny now, but I can’t agree on kids with guns.

Teach them how to sail. I took a certified sailing course. I also etched glass with a hand-held diamond cutter when I was kid. My mom still has the vase. I made stain glass windows and all kinds of crafts… dyed & baked dinner plates with patterns on them…. useless gay s~~~ like that.

What did it teach me? I don’t f~~~ing know. Maybe it taught me how to sit still for a couple of hours. Perhaps it taught me patience. Maybe I learned how to never be bored a day in my life. A skill SORELY lacking in kids today.

When I hear a kid say “I’m bored”, I see red. But at least I won’t make the front page for opening fire in a crowded movie theatre.

My niece just got a black belt in some martial art – TaiKwonDo or something. That’s cool. I saw her break some blocks with her feet a few weeks ago. Nobody’s gonna f~~~ with her anytime soon. That’s for sure. She’s very well put together.

I guess that’s true. And, I wouldn’t make it mandatory, but I do think everyone at least when they’re adults should end up taking a class on how to properly use a gun safely as long as they clear background checks/have no mental health problems.

I also learned to clean fish at a young age which is pretty cool.

Haha, and that’s awesome.

I enjoyed our little exchange here tonight. A pleasure chatting and I have a smile now on an otherwise irritating and dull day. Thanks.
