I’m a lifelong 43 yr old Kiwi MGHOW, although I have been in 3 LTRs over the years. (3yrs each 2 were LDRs) However, I have never been engaged or married. I asked my GF to marry me when I was 24 but thank f~~~ she said NO as we were too young! She saved me from the plantation!

As an ESL Teacher, I have travelled overseas for many years starting up projects to deliver technical training in English for foreigners, such as Saudi Arabia, Thailand and currently, China. (Of course I’m using a VPN as MGTOW.COM is blocked here lol) I often travel, so LTRs were off the table for practical reasons mostly. However, I lived in the UK for years and it was there when I had my first RP moment. My GF at the time asked me what I thought of a jar full of pebbles to put near the fireplace which cost around $20! I knew then, that marriage and women’s BS was just not for me. I dumped her ass and never looked back.

As a young guy, I traveled all round the world, the USA Asia, Europe etc. and had an absolute blast. I always felt the pressure form society to be in an LTR though, so I would seek that even though I knew I didnt really make me happy or content apart from regular sex. Every time I got to the 3 year mark though, I had this little voice telling me, “This is bulls~~~, you’re giving half your s~~~ to someone just for being nice to you?” I guess some of us are just natural MGTOWs who don’t cave to pressure.

Once I discovered Tom Leyksis and Bill Burr et al. I knew I was a confirmed bachelor. Although I have had relationships during that time, I never committed fully, and always had an exit strategy in mind. I was still blue pill in the sense that I didn’t know about the feminist agenda etc. but I essentially started going my own way when I was in my mid thirties.

I’m certainly a ‘moderate’ MGHOW, in that I don’t shun women or avoid them. But of course, I’ll never marry or have an LTR and I don’t actively date or do pickup. My focus now is building a future with my (extended) family in NZ as I wan’t to live Asian-style where we all share resources and live close by as we did in the past. I think this is a positive way for MGTOW to build wealth and a support structure without some f~~~ing wife dominating the home, and claiming the wealth as hers with little input.

Anyway, I hope I can be of some support or inspiration for younger MGTOW here and look forward to being part of the community.

Welcome to mgtow and interesting you say that because aside from the external influences, I think mgtow can also be genetic. I have quite a few family members who are mgtow so it might run in the genes or something.
