I do find it remarkable that the story was on the front page of the digital version of the Calgary Sun for all of three hours, before it was replaced with three “rape articles”.

I might have overreacted, and got sucked into the NAWALT thing rather quickly.  A moment of weakness if you will.  I think I was probably shocked that the article actually made it’s way onto mainstream news.  However, your NAWALT observation is incredibly important and most likely hits the nail on the head.  Probably meant to be a small, meaningless concession if anything.

Actually, she did mention that they say climate change and finances are “men’s problems” even though they’re things everyone deals with in actuality. She also said that women need to “stand up for themselves” instead of just giving in to the victim complex BS and whining all day. This stuff is wedged in at the bottom of the article in the last handful of paragraphs.

Yes, for sure.  Since I tend to gravitate so far away from most mainstream media, and was sucked in to reading the article at the Sun by way of an ad, it would be hard to say what sort of pattern she’s laid in terms of her belief systems etc. without further reading.

I suppose I could go over previous articles which she’s written, but I’d run the risk of reading more than one article in a row penned by a woman, and I’m already retarded enough.
