Sorry if I offend anyone who still enjoys sex, but I think people who enjoy sex still have a cave-man mentality. Its one of the most primitive acts a man can do. I don’t really see the appeal in repeatedly sliding your dick in and out of a pussy/ass anymore. And doing it in various different positions doesn’t change it much either. Maybe when I was a teenager that s~~~ was exciting but I’m almost 30 now and my mind has greatly evolved since then. When you throw in the STD risk (I’ve had my share of scares), the pregnancy risk (I’ve also had my share of scares/lies), and all the other bad s~~~ that comes with it, sex simply isn’t worth it.

I haven’t done had it since April and have no plans to have it on the horizon. I can make a few phone calls and send a few texts and get free sex with an attractive girl or 2 whenever I want, but I simply choose not to. Its not worth it. Anybody else feel the same?

Ill say this: Im now 36 and my sex drive isnt nearly as high as it was in my 20s. Pereonally, I think this is due to stress and other factors, and NOT age. I could be wrong.

Do I still crave sex? Yes. Does it CONTROL me as much as in my youth: No. Why Im lacking in the sex craze is still questionable. Ive been in a mental rut for MONTHS now. That could be the culprit. I also think MOST of it is psychological: if you come to the conclusion that sex comes with SO much effort on your part, little to no effort on the females part, and for me the idea that women are “Sharing” this “experience” with MANY other men, then that is a turn off to me.

Regarding the STD/Pregnancy risk: When I was younger I was VERY concerned about STDs. I wouldnt even go down on a hot chick when I had the chance. When I read up on it, a man receiving an STD from giving a woman oral is rather rare. At least a serious STD. I cared much less about this aspect the older I got.

Pregnancy: dont know how, but Ive never had a scare there either. Its definitely a legitimate concern, I simply never dealt with it.

Abstaining from sex, for me, is more of the fact that Im turned off by women who think NOTHING of it. It seems its more of a higher value act for me than them.

I still think about sex. But its not NEARLY as some uncontrollable hormone act for me as it was when I was younger. Guys in their teens and twenties are out of controll hormonally. But women are still worse. You take a guy in that age range who was brought up beleiving sex was sacred, and NO woman will be as responsible.

So, ya I still want to f~~~. But it isnt the most dominant need in my life.
