How should I react when my Dad lectures me about being a gentleman?

I dont understand how my Dad could be so blind about how women are in this day and age. He should know that just because a person has boobs and vagina doesnt mean they deserve special treatment. My sister is a bitch and when I didnt open the door for her my Dad got angry and gave me a lecture about being a gentleman. I didnt know how to react so I just told him “you got to the door before I did”.Then he said “no I didnt”. He then proceeded to give me another lecture about not talking back to him as if I was a f~~~ing kid. He must be delusional if he doesnt see and recognise that women and society in general is not the same as it used to be. Its like everything and everyone is going crazy all at once. Women are killing their unborn babies, religion is getting more cultish and weirder,terrorism is on the rise,the economy is only getting worse,and normal people just dont care because they are a bunch of nihilists. I just dont understand why he conforms to society’s old traditionalism and a cultish religion. I look around and I notice that the world is crashing down around me and I dont know why my Dad doesnt see the world the way it really is. How do I convince him that his religious philosophy isnt going to save the world? How do I convince him that rape culture is a lie told by a hate group called the tumbler feminists who are using men as scape goats? How do I convince him that I dont need to get married in order to have kids. How do I convince him to get a divorce and go his own way? What can I say or do to make him want to be more like me?

it sounds as if he wont listen, just to stubborn. needs to learn the hard way obviously, sorry man but the way he sees it, hes your dad and theres no way his son could give him advice hes been around longer you know what im saying? i put up with this on a daily basis, not with my father, hes no longer with us, but with everyone in general i try to help younger guys than myself at school all the time by telling them mgtow knowledge, but no one wants to listen they are all just 2 damn thirsty for the vagina, manginas and white knights all the older ones that are married and not. it sucks wanting to help others and they just wont listen. just dont change man take the lectures and let em learn the hard way. or who knows you could convince him? ya never know

My dad never listens to me, even about subjects on which I happen to a highly trained expert. It’s some kind of father-son thing.

Then there is the “backfire effect” which causes people to harden their opinions in the face of contrary facts. Even trained scientists do this, and they ought to know better if anyone does.

Your Dad may very well know the truth at a deeper level but through cognitive dissonance, is unable to let go. As a result, he has emotional insecurity that he is projecting on you. Best thing to do is shrug it off and minimize talk of women and contact with your sister. Above all else, don’t let them pull you back into the matrix.

Convince him to get a divorce? Divorces steamroll men. If he’s still of the mindset where he tries to tell you how to treat women, he’d probably just up and re-marry anyway.

Tell him when he starts paying your mortgage, bills, and any debt you have, he can start telling you what to do.

It’s a common problem, I have encountered many such men, they are usually +40 and seem to be wearing 1950’s glasses, because they can’t see things for how they really are and expect young men to go along with it, all the while completely oblivious to the fact that things have changed and for the worse.

They are usually the biggest manginas or white knights that you will ever meet.
