What makes it worse is that it happened when I was 17-18. Not anything too extreme, typical immature high school garbage where I got humiliated by a bigger kid a few times mixed in with one fight where I got destroyed.  Actually, after I got beat up things pretty much ended with the punk, other than him telling a few guys my punches felt like feathers which still bothers me. But the worse memories come from everything prior that. I just made my introduction a few days ago, but I went to a very typical rich suburban high school and as a new kid, I was extremely shy and that can be pretty hard for a more introverted person to adjust to (this also caused me to “pedestal” women later on). I literally had panic attacks just walking through the halls all the way up until graduation. I ate lunch in my car sometimes, I just couldn’t connect with anybody in that environment, too much immaturity from guys who had the IQ of a monkey and I just didn’t fit in.

Anyways, for the last year and a half I have re-lived these bullying incidents like literally 100 times a day in my head, from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. I see this punk’s face in my mind perfectly, and I hate it. My breathing speeds up and there is even slight chest pain at times when I think about it. I keep re-playing in my head what a punk he was, and how I should have acted like a man and got physical early on, and I am disgusted with myself for letting this punk getting under my skin both then and now. This mental prison that I am in is breaking me down, and it needs to change soon.

Saying that it would appear this stems from insecurity based on societal standards i.e. as a man you have to be strong etc.

I would suggest you work on your ego, a healty ego will never be broken, do that through training your mind and body.

Read books to stimulate your mind, work out to stimulate your body, your wasting time thinking about the past, force yourself into the future and you’ll forget the past, because in all honesty, it doesnt mean s~~~.

It should not and will not define you, you define you. Good luck

Krav maga maybe?

I’ve been through some similar experiences. In the end, all you can do is endure for now. It sounds harsh, but really, there is nothing you can (or should) do. Success is the best revenge, so keep that in mind. Work on yourself and on your goals and let these assholes behind. By remembering these acts, you are carrying them on your back. They don’t deserve even that. There is an ancient Chinese proverb that a friend of mine used to tell me: “Wait on the shore, and let the river bring the bodies of you enemies”. Or something like that. The message was, usually these people are not assholes just with you, they are assholes with everybody. It is just a matter of time when they will put their foot on their mouths and get themselves into a situation that they will have no other choice then suffer the consequences. Karma, in a way, works. It doesn’t prevent people from taking s~~~ty decisions, however sooner or later those decisions will bite them in the ass (that’s what I like to believe anyway). The only thing is, you will not be able to see it, but it will happen. So, although memories can be difficult to deal sometimes, try not to be consumed by them.

I had some pretty rough life in High School as well, and took me a long time to get over it. But when I look at my life now and the life the so called “popular kids” are probably having nowadays, I feel pretty lucky. Despite not being the most athletic, “smart”, articulated by any means, the hardships I’ve been through made me stubborn as hell. And THAT is what makes you succeed. Learn to grow from your difficulties. Those that are used to success, give up at the first sign of trouble. Be glad you are not of them, you are most likely to prevail no matter what s~~~ life throws at you.

Be safe brother.

Cheers

P.S.: You know, I really don’t like traditionalism, why did you had to get this nickname…. whyyyyy?!!? 🙂

Do you think you need some professional counseling ?

Bullies are just part of life. There are bad people, very bad people all over the world.

There are terrorists and murderers ,criminals and thugs, insane  military commanders and rape gangs, corrupt politicians and police and corrupt politicians who cater to feminism .

You need to decide and evaluate your situation and decide what measures are necessary to deal with it.

Professional help for example.

frankly my dear i don't give a damn

I strongly suggest you enroll in a good MMA school.

If you only want to pick one or two things to learn, go with Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. To be a complete fighter you need both stand up and ground skills. You also need skills in the clinch and both arts that I mentioned will also touch on that (if you are in a good school).

Learning the martial arts will NOT change the past. But it will make you more confident so that you know that you will never get bullied again.

As an adult, you really don’t need to know how to fight like you should have when you were in middle school and high school. But like I said, the past is over and there is nothing you can do about that now.

Take  my advice, it will do your mind and your body a world of good. I absolutely guarantee it.

Women are parasites. Each and every last one of them.

I actually did get an MMA lesson last month and it felt really good. But I don’t know if I will go back because of the cost and also because I am limited with a radial head injury on my elbow years ago which limits me. I have talked to my father about this, and he has said I’m making a bigger deal out of this then it is. But I feel very inadequate measured against him, he is a real tough guy retired city cop and his life has been so much harder than mine.

And I chose the name traditionalism because I believe in a traditional gender roles supported by laws against feminism. If a woman is committing adultery with a co-worker and wants to leave her husband of 20 years she should be leaving barefoot with nothing, not gaining a house/custody of children/and alimony. I also believe women should be officially paid less and encouraged to stay home so wages will improve for men.

Ok, first things first, the past is the past you cant change it.

Actually that’s not true.  While you may not be able to change whether or not the event took place, you can change the meaning of the event and that’s enough to free you.

Find a life coach who understands Anchoring and a technique called “Change Personal History.”  S/he’ll be able to get you past this in under an hour.  Works best face to face.
