Made it through my first weekend without Raman noodles. Had a sandwich instead. Stayed home all weekend laying around watching TV…..peace and quiet with no people around. I’m saving a lot of money by not going anywhere. When will this hell end?!?!

This is pretty good motivation to get more things done around the house. Need to clean some areas that I neglect during normal cleaning, like dusting. Since I’m home anyway, may as well get off my ass and dust. Got some guns I need to clean too. Now that the weather is warming up, I can open the windows so the solvent doesn’t choke me too bad and get these guns cleaned and read for some more practice at the range.

Life was good before the virus. Life is still good during the virus, as long as you don’t get the schit……..and life will be good after the virus. The economy will bounce back stronger than ever and people will quickly forget all about COVID-19.

The REASON this “pandemic” is causing businesses to be closed is because this particular virus is EXTREMELY CONTAGIOUS which means that it’s EASILY TRANSFERABLE from ONE PERSON TO MANY.
While MOST infected people will only have mild flue like symptoms, others like MANY of the elderly will not be so fortunate, and they will have severe cases NEEDING TO BE HOSPITALIZED, and many of those will die.
If we do not reduce our human contact then we’re going to get all of the healthcare workers sick.
We will also need more and more beds in hospitals which we just don’t have.
This will also cause the death of MANY OTHER PEOPLE that are NOT INFECTED to get the medical care that they need.
There is still PLENTY OF STUFF in the grocery stores/Walmarts/Home Depots/Lowes etc. for people to buy, and just about everything else can still be ordered online and delivered to your front door.
If somebody has to substitute Kleenex for toilet paper for a week or two, they too shall tough it out and survive.
In the mean time, NOBODY is going without their Fruity Pebbles, Twinkies, or Coca-Cola.
Netflix is still roaring along, and there is no shortage of video games, or time to enjoy them all.
The World will live to see another day without mass riots, or a Zombie apocalypse.

The shut-down and isolation has a purpose.

As contagious as this “virus” is; one thing the world does NOT NEED is for it to mutate. If a virus as contagious as this. a negative mutation could in reality end civilization. CORVID-19 is already showing a high level of resistance and contagion. If it mutates the mortality rates rise dramatically.

What TRUMP did was right to restrict travel , and once here; to isolate.
This slows down its ability to mutate while giving time to prepare.
They call it a “War” because its serious sh*t

Personally, I feel for those who are stricken with COVID-19; its not any fun from what I hear from peops in the medical field. I’m enjoying the isolation, although I do miss the social activities that occupy my weekends. Spring is coming anyway guys-enjoy!
