I want to ask you something, I guess it will be not asked before by one of your guys.

What is or what are your favorite movies ?

Typically I am interested in Science Fiction movies but there is one of an other category which has become to one of my absolute favorites since I saw it for the first time.
It is from 1990 and called “A Shock to the System” with the leading actor Michael Caine. He plays a middle aged executive who loses his promotion to a younger man. But he did find his own way to get over it, starting to get rid of his annoying wife, using his female secretery for fun and witness and blasting “The American Dream” with just one match.
After all he climbed the corporate ladder up to the top.

Maybe you know this movie. If not, try to take a look at it. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the full movie in the web, only some short scenes and the trailer. Well, the movie is now nearly 25 years old so don’t be suprised because of some office behavioral which is nowadays hardly practicable.
The story and the screenplay is excellent in my opinion.

Abracadabra, shallica zam, bye bye, baby: boom!”

There are too many runners up to list. Here’s a start in no particular order.
Galaxy Quest
A Christmas Story
The Godfather Trilogy (I like the first the best.)
Lone Star
L.A. Confidential (The 1997 version, I haven’t seen the remake.)
In Harm’s Way
Samurai movies by Kurosawa starring Mifune.
Samurai movies with Zatoichi in them.

Moon (2009)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1182345/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

One of the most brilliant, hard hitting, hard sci-fi movies.

Fight Club (1999)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137523/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

I feel this needs no introduction. A novel and movie ahead of its time, and for me one of the ultimate MGTOW movies

Falling Down (1993)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106856/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

A underrated, simple and yet elegant flick about the effects of society on a man, and what happens if said man has had enough.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1197624/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Another great movie about a man that has suffered injustice and decides to use his cunning to take revenge on those that wronged him.

The Matrix Trilogy (1999-2003)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133093/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Yes, i am one of those apparent freaks that enjoyed and loves all three movies. Needs to introduction either.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111161/?ref_=nv_sr_1

A rare one, and a good one. One which people describe as a male tear-jerker, and one can not be suprised to see why. A beatifull timeless story about values that have been lost in most of todays men: Friendship and loyatly above all.

Mr. Nobody (2009)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0485947/?ref_=nv_sr_1

How do i even begin to explain this? It is something that you simply have to watch and experience for yourself, as words cannot do this justice.

I served the English king (2006)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0284363/?ref_=nv_sr_1

A Czech film, but a damn good one. If you can find it with subtitles, i do reccomend it. It is a great story about a little cunning man and his life and exploits during the early to late 20th century.

Divided we fall (2000)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0234288/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

As with the previous example: foreign language Czech film, but if you take the time of day to hunt down a subbed version, it might prove to be one of the best movies you will ever see.

Then either Angels & Demons or Da Vinci Code. Both books were amazing and I was happy with how true the movies kept to the books.
