Each time some coworker or friend talk about their new tattoo(s), I simply ask them the price, followed up by asking them why they didn’t get x or z item, that they clearly have shown need fore instead, it always ends with some funny explanation(excuse) on how they want to show an artistic part on their body. In which I tell them, a t-shirt with a print is not only cheaper and have more variety options, but also doesn’t require laser surgery to get removed if you regret it later on.

 

Yeah I’m that person, who sometimes asks logical questions, terrible of me, why don’t I conform, and instead tell them how awesome and totally worth it that tattoo is…

He had the beef to display it too. (I’m so scrawny I would have needed half-sized ones to make them fit like his did.) I wonder if he ever made warrant officer? That would have inspired a massive tattoo removal, so I doubt it but wonder to this day.

Women with large or multiple tattoos are a turn off to me.  It would be like seeing the woman wearing the same shirt every day for the rest of her life.  And just like an old shirt, it will infinitely fade and stretch.  Every few years they will have to spend the money again to get it re-inked.

It reminds me of when I was a kid and the 18yo guy across the street got his first tattoo.  His fathered was bemused, and said “Johnny, that Eagle on your arm looks great now.  But in 30 years it will look like an Eagle s~~~ down your arm!”.

What happens if he looses rank? the arm comes off? does he tape over? I can see it now… Remove that arm or be court-martialed for stolen valor!
