But the most exsassperating thing about Kelly to me is how she has taken blatant advantage of her looks and sex to get where she is but won’t even have the decency to admit it. She simply hides behind her faux conservatism. Lets take a look at her career on FOX news and compare it to a male counterpart shall we? In the last four years Kelly has given birth to three children. For each of these children she has taken 3 months maternity leave at a minimum. So that makes nine months total. Lets also add time she had probably taken off when she was coming close to term as well as vacation time, personal days etc., and it would be safe to say that in the last four years she has probably been absent from her job on FOX news for at least a year. Thats a solid year off in the last four. Yet after each of these pregnancies and ensuing maternity leaves she has gotten more and more powerful and more and more money! This chick can’t lose! She has a charmed life!

If I were one of of her male counterparts at FOX I would be losing my s~~~! Imagine that for the last four years you have been banging your head against the wall with virtually no time off, 80 hour weeks, and being at the constant beckon call of your superiors who will send you to some armpit country at the mere drop of a hat. Now imagine on top of that you have a wife and kids as well? We also know that no male would dare ask for maternity leave because he knows that not only will he be looked at like he was crazy, but he would lose valuable time to further his career. Out of sight, out of mind right? I dont know how these guys deal with it. Especially when you hear Kelly mouthing conservative words and yet whining about feminism. One guest actually called Kelly on it, calling her three month maternity leave “a nice vacation racket”. Of course she freaked out and he was widely crucified.

Yet the final nail in the coffin for me from this faux conservative is her three kids. For all her fake sanctimonious bulls~~~ she is still nothing more then another self-absorbed feminist who thinks she can “have it all”. Well yes, she can, and is having it all in a way. But at the sacrifice of her kids who are now (and forever more) will be raised by an army of nannies. It is well known that ages 1-10 are the formative years. The time that they need their mothers full-time and devoted attention. Not a quick kiss on the cheek as she is heading out the door or asking how their day was when they are about to go to sleep. Weekend parenting is no parenting at all. Yet this is a woman who is held up by “Conservatives” as a woman who is to be admired. The modern feminist conservative. This is why I can’t stand Megyn Kelly gentlemen, nor any of the other bleached out FOX news females. If they are what the future of conservative women are supposed to be, then I dont want any part of it or them.

If you compare fox to msnbc they have more similarities than differences

-both promote feminism

-both have dedicated followers from specific age groups

+they play off of loves, hates, fears of their specific following

-both slant stories for political objective

-both receive corporate funding (at least I think you might want to double check)

+all corporations have to be driven by profits margins otherwise they cannot exist.

The other thing is this: Megyn Kelly also gets to appear regularly on The O’Reilly Factor to hype her show to Bill O’Reilly’s huge audience. I don’t recall Kelly’s predecessor (Sean Hannity) ever being given this kind of support and push from FOX.

I’m not a fan of Sean Hannity’s politics; like you, I am a libertarian. But FOX’s relentless push of this garbage made me turn it off completely. Consider: Megyn Kelly is a non-author, non-radio host who had no non-FOX recognition prior to FOX’s massive push.  It’s a total prop-up situation.
