It’s called “duping delight” and when it’s done during a trial/interview/questioning it’s a sign of a sociopath or psychopath. Half of it is because they love lying so much that they actually find it fun and can’t help but crack a stupid little grin. The other half of it is because they are not concerned at all, they fully believe they will get away with whatever they did because they’re so much smarter than the rest of us.
