A little background .. my sister and her three kids live with my mom and grandmom they have 2 different fathers non of which is the current husband.

Her husband isnt talking to her because he cant deal with her kids and wants her to leave the children in my mothers care if she wants to live with him and his 2 kids.

So they come at me with that and how awful it is and if he would only go to counciling .. I hold my tongue about that I do mention that its sad that now theyll have to get a divorce and I wonder why anyone even bothers getting married anymore .. surprised looks from them to me.

They go on about how he should just man up and take care of her brood which I respond but they arent his kids.. hes got his own kids to take care of.  They keep on about it how he said he would buy her a car and he used to give her a hundred dollar a week allowance.

I finally shut them down with hey ..equality and equal rights shes just going to have to get a job I guess.

Its funny to recognize my own family trying to push blue pill wisdom around and being able to shut them down with the truth.

Ive come over to the MRA side.

They’re so fallacious and insidious. The one who uses them has no interest in equity. “Man up,” they say. Who are you to tell me what a man is? Who are you to tell me what the mature response is? Obviously you care about neither, but want to blackmail me into your position. If I don’t do what you say, then I have not, “Manned up,” therefore I accept the shame of being a less man. It’s behavior typically found in dysfunctional families and the ghetto.

In fact, ghetto people can be some of the most chivalrous people ever.

Naw, just say, “Quit acting like a ghetto whore. He needs to do what he needs to do, you should be taking care of your self, and I’ll do what I think is right,” or more bluntly, “I’m not your slave.”
