It’s interesting that you mention New Brunswick.  In Grade 12, I was smitten with a girl from there who had moved to my town in B. C.  I was rather shy and geeky in those days and wasn’t quite sure how to approach her.  Rather than wait and be patient, or even make it easier for me, she took up with whoever asked her out.  Of course, it was her privilege, even though she knew how I felt about her, but she did it to try and get me to prove my manliness.

 

Things never did work out between us.  She got married about a year after she finished high school.  The marriage lasted for about the same period of time.

 

I’ve had no contact with her for more than 40 years.  From what I’ve heard from other sources, though, she remarried, had at least one kid, is still in that hick town, and turned into a land whale.  I didn’t lose much.

I have a male German Sheppard, and a male Alaskan Malmute.  Both of them got up and hid in the bedroom when I played that video.  It seems that the fear that it struck in the hearts of men was also struck in the hearts of male dogs…dogs from different sides of the world.  lol
