The author says “humans.” He has a point since men are human too. My opinion is it was men who went to war, and went hunting in groups, and were thus compelled to work in teams. The story I’m sticking to is, it was men who invented teamwork and women who invented camp following.

I’ve seen what happens when women form all-woman teams, and what happens when a number of women inject themselves into all-man teams. All too often, things like the team’s goals and objectives are set aside for bickering and internal political fighting.
