Now that my artificial dependents are vacating the premises, I’m going to have a 5 segment man cave with a kitchen and bedroom soon. I already have my spare bedroom in use as a music studio. I’m looking for some ideas on what to put in these extra rooms and I thought it would be a great opportunity for you guys to show off some of what you have done and help me out at the same time. Any takers? I’d love to see pictures or read descriptions. Thanks in advance!

I build model airplanes when there’s time, so one room is a big table with toy trains and planes all over it. Like a workbench with tools, it doubles as a play room and I have drawings art un-hung & un-framed art in there too. The home theatre is placed so as not to disturb neighbors because I really like to turn it up and feel the subwoofer. I also don’t like the way living rooms have a huge black screen in them. it’s overwhelming and I think it should be a dedicated space.

I have even built a nice walnut wall protruding from the actual wall (about 1.2 meters) where all the components and wires are, with the TV flush mounted and I can squeeze back there to make hookups. I hate looking at wires and cables. A friend did this to his garage which I think is super cool. He has a Ducati Sport 1000 and it’s like opening the door and driving it into a living room. Almost like Ferris Bueller’s garage, with guest chairs too, and a small fridge.
