On a somewhat unrelated topic, Sandman just released a video about a guy who’s starting a ‘boycott’ TV for, in part, gynocentrism, whether it’s in commercials or content. I noticed it years ago – that’s why I have watched only 1 major network series in years and then only when it came to DVD (“Hannibal”). The funny thing about the video is it’s timing because Friday was the day I had Directv shut off my access as I was watching so little for so much, except football, and it will be far cheaper for me to just get a rooftop antenna to pull in the local channels. F~~~ ESPN. With Netflix DVDs and instant streaming from both them and Amazon Prime, plus Youtube streamed to my TV and an occasional Redbox DVD why the f~~~ would I need to pay for TV service??? And any series I’ve been watching off the cable channels, like “The Walking Dead” and “Justified” will go to DVD in a year anyway, so I won’t be missing anything.

Have you considered digital? While I was abroad I just bought shows digital since European tv wasn’t going to be airing them lol. I saw the first 2 seasons of Arrow digital as I got them on google play. You can buy a season pass and the episode is up the day after it airs. Not only that but since the episodes are linked to your account you can watch them again when every you want. The funny thing is more people are starting to wise up to digital downloads and streaming services because like movies and video games it can be viewed on their schedule. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get tvgate sometime soon. Broadcast tv and cable and satellite providers aren’t going to like that because they will be losing money. All they have to do is bring in a Sarkeesian like person to spread lies about people who prefer netflix and hulu over broadcast tv and sadly we will have another scandal lol.
