I don’t condone the actions of Ray Rice and, frankly, think he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law..
With that said.. Why the hell do women think it’s okay to slap a man in the heat of an argument? Domestic violence laws apply to EVERYONE, not just men. Women can’t go slapping a man simply because they are frustrated. If you don’t want the chance of getting punched in the face, don’t put your hands on another person.. It’s as simple as that. It is a two-way street, not a highway and a bike path.

Completely ignore her. It hurts worse. You can do a lot more damage to a woman by ignoring her completely. Permanent, internal damage. Attention is her lifeblood (after nagging). Nothing is more devastating to her than being totally ignored. Less effort than beating her. More effective results.

It’s “cruel” yes. But it’s not violent. It’s necessary. It’s the best way to deal with it. To cut all contact. They will even launch big campaigns “it’s never OK to hit a woman!”. OK. I agree. Mind if I go MGTOW and just ignore her instead?

Bruises heal. But abandonment issues are forever.

Nothing would please her more than to test your limit and be able to say “AHA! I told you! Men really are as abusive and violent as we’ve said!” A man must never give her the satisfaction. -women don’t give a s~~~ about guys getting abused by their spouses, despite all the high minded talk about domestic abuse. They also don’t give a s~~~ about kids getting beaten or emotionally abused , as it is often by the mother. In fact even worse when it is kids because they cant leave like women can. And one reason women don’t leave is because they recognize it is often mutual violence.
-women don’t want guys getting a free pass on spouse abuse just because they are the spouse. They want it treated like any other crime by a stranger. So how about when the wife uses the guys credit card without his authorization? How about some theft charges? Just one example.
-His wife not only got over it and didn’t press charges, she married the guy. That is called agency, and should be respected as a choice an adult made. She had her reasons, and no doubt there is much more to the relationship than the 30 second video, and more context to put into domestic violence such as the mutual violence in most of those situations. But all the feminist and pro-feminist pundits want to take away her agency and call for charges, lifetime bans, jail time. In reality, if they gave a s~~~ about equality, they would realize agency is one of the primary attributes of equality. And though we don’t know the full domestic situation, she has a right to make the wrong decision.

The only reason she deafened him and asked for him to not be banned is because of her income. If he gets banned he can not make huge amounts of money for her. Since a woman’s greatest goal is to make sure a man makes the most out at the plantation, she can not have him losing a lucrative NFL contract. She married him only because she is rolling the dice, she is nearing the wall quickly and the chances of her finding another Ray Rice are slim to none. She is hoping that by marring him the punishment will be diminished and he can go on working for her. Until they hit the ten year mark and she can get life time alimony and leaves him.

Second thing I would like to add is, this is something that guys need to think about when getting serious with a woman.  If she is going to hit you and spit on you then the respect for you if you don’t leave her is going to go down hill really fast.  More importantly, it can ruin your life if the police get involved because they are automatically going to see you as the aggressor and her as the victim.  Coming back from that is an uphill battle even if you do.  Maybe some guys are okay with living like that but I am willing to bet if you are here then you are way above that.   As for me, my favorite hobbies/sports involve the use and ownership of firearms.  In the US, all that is needed to remove your legal ability to own them is a misdemeanor DV or an RO.   If I even think that it is going that way I take a few deep breathes, reassess the situation, and make the choice depending on whether or not my fears were founded.  If they were founded, that is when it is time to execute the exit strategy on that relationship.

Ray Rice had a hard lesson to learn.  I do not think it has fully sunk in with him yet.
