I just received a “formal write-up” this past Tuesday due to the fact that I didn’t catch a few e-mails that came to me 2 weeks ago from another department somehow (these types of e-mails they sent also always get CC’d to the senior secretary in my department who usually forwards the e-mails as a just-in-case I didn’t get it).  I’m a stupidly forgetful person as is, but I try my best to make notes of things that I forget on.  Because this is the second time since February that I forgot to get back to that e-mail among the literal loads of other things I have to do, my boss said she had no choice but to send a write-up to HR, and that she would send me the e-mail as well so I’m in the loop.  She asked if I had any questions or any comments.  I couldn’t give her any reasoning that would work with her.  I’ve been having some serious mental/physical issues lately (I had a heart issue happen two Tuesdays ago, for example, and my memory, strength, focus, etc. has worsened to a point that it’s worse than before), and I’ve been trying to figure out why I’m so forgetful.  I still work hard and I get every task done that’s required of me…but because I forgot 3 e-mails within a week (which is strange, because it says I “read” them), “this is bad, this is just plain laziness and carelessness on your behalf” according to what she’s said.

I sometimes take breaks after every task, as it helps me focus and remember things better that way.  According to her, she’s going to be “monitoring me more closely now” because “everytime she walks by, she always ‘catches’ me on YouTube, my phone, or on other sites.”  What’s funny is that literally every thing I have playing on YouTube is literally background noise, like a radio.  We’re allowed to have background noise, but she’s claiming that the background noise is what’s distracting me and causing me to forget so much.  It’s like she’s trying to diagnose me before I have a chance to see the doctor on the 20th about all of my issues.  What’s funny is that the background music/talking I play in those videos actually helps me concentrate better for some reason.

It took a lot for me to ask her “what about the other members of the office that play their radios and even have their headphones on, and what about you who’s almost always glancing at her phone almost everytime I walk by your office?”  I always get my tasks done by the end of the day, or on time, normally earlier than it’s due.

The part that made me agree the most in the video was when TFM said “that will become ‘all she ever sees you do.'” That’s EXACTLY what my boss claims.  Honestly, if it was allegedly “all I ever did,” I wouldn’t be getting things done in the first place.

I have had two interviews in the past two weeks, and was told by one that if I was one of the final candidates, they would contact me this week.  Here’s hoping and praying.

Because the files weren’t built and a decision wasn’t made, they e-mailed my boss instead of me to find out where those 3 files were.  Had they e-mailed me about it, I could have fixed the issue immediately and the files would have been evaluated in literally a day or two, if even that.  Sometimes they can be done in the same day.  It’s that quick and easy of a process.  It’s just strange how none of these files were built or passed to the school.  I’ve talked about this before, and some people on here will even remember this kind of thing happening before.  I know it sounds a little suspicious/paranoid, but you know what it takes to delete those files and remove them from existence?  Literally going into Microsoft Access and clicking “Delete Record.”  I’m feeling a little weird about this considering this is EXACTLY what happened in February…3 files not built that were e-mailed to me, particularly around a time where I was being extra careful not to lose my job.

I’ve taken the advice of many men on here and kept records of EVERYTHING…but there’s always these “gotcha” situations that these women I work with get me into that screws me over.  I now go into work feeling like some drone, lifeless and sitting at my desk like some automaton.  Standing up for myself would only screw me over more.  I know it’s a state job and it takes a literal act of Congress to get me fired, but since when did Congress today care about men anyway?

Amen!

Here is a trick I learned but it was at a private company, not a university. A guy found a new job and gave them a one month notice, as a courtesy so they could rig up a replacement.

He refused to tell them who had hired them. Like you, he was under a cloud of trumped up charges, and he feared they would call up the new boss and poison his ear. (He was right to think so. I was a bystander and saw the whole setup — downfall.)

They kicked him out the same day! They were afraid he was going to a competitor and would bring their secrets with him. He got a month of paid time to do with as he wished.

Society asks MGTOWs: Why are you not making more tax-slaves?

On a side note, I don’t know if I told anyone, but the female roommate is GONE.  Left last Wednesday.  Feels good to have my full-sized “man cave” back.

Even when I had a placement in an office for a medical clinic, the amount of non female morons was off the scale.
