For years I have been ranting that the news is controlled by a few giant corporations. (When you rant at people long enough, they tend to get blank looks in their eyes and drift away.) Here is the latest book that exposes that. (There are quite a few earlier books. This is just the latest in a series.)

One that got me was that the network suits use reporters as casting agents. They tell them to find and interview people who agree with the suits’ version of the story.

Media bias affects me:
I used to shop at Food Lion until some network did a hit piece on them which put them out of business. Food Lion sued them and won. They proved the network had planted its own people in the store and then filmed them contaminating meat and such. Too late – all the stores in my area were closed and left vacant.

Up here in Canada CBC is the worst left-leaning liberal station that will even feed on it own. For example the Jian Ghomeshi affair played up to the point of ludicrous like the whole Bill Cosby affair. Every time I see one of their stories I know it will be in favour of whomever feels victimized without any investigative journalism. Most media outlets are like c~~~roaches going after a spill of food,I put them on a lower level than even politicians & lawyers.
