Was arguing with a woman about the MGTOW website. I got the usual MYSOGINST hate speech. But it did get me thinking.
Once you have down’ed the red pill there is a lot of bitterness and anger that comes with it. I see it on this website and it is justifiable. Most of the men here have been subjected to emotional, financial and in some cases physical abuse. So it is not unexpected that there is a lot of anger at women and shouting. Its men’s way of working out our s~~~. So if women lurk here and cackle about the misoginistic mgtow site, f~~~ off and go back to your Misandry sites with your cats. We’re working out our s~~~ our own way without the need for t~~~s to interfere. This forum is for men who have taken the red pill and are working out what to do and if MGTOW is for them. I wish I had this website when I took my red pill, but back then there wasn’t even the internet. lol.
Crafting your red pill.
In college I was surrounded by young women who were there for a wild ride and I found myself with a c~~~ and a lot of very horny women around me.   A lot of sex ensued. The peculiar thing which started crafting my red pill was that they always came around for the sex but they never stayed after they learned I was a graphic artist rather than a financial or business major.   My red pill was put in my hand by seeing several friends cleaned out, losing their children in divorce proceedings. They had the same hollow look in thier eyes as my father when he was divorced by my mother while I was in college.   These men felt they failed, even though in all the cases they wanted to make their marrage work because they cared for their women and wanted to be dads. I swallowed my red pill when a friends wife called me up for a hook up. I recorded the conversation and gave it to her husband (my friend) without looking back.   This was in the early 90’s.
The therapy. You’re a man, rage, shout, then work it out and do things.
You go through a period of anger. We see it here on these forums where we vent our spleens on the idiocracy we have woken up to. The key is to not fall into hate. Hate warps you and slowly eats your soul until there is nothing left but hate. Take the anger hammer it into goals. I asked myself, “Now that I have time, energy and money what can I do for myself?” I learned to cook, learned another language, how to sail, how to work on engines. Generally if there was something interesting I went out and did it.   Take the anger you start off with and use it as a kickstarter for your life.
Oh and if you have children, be a great dad. Have a son? Be that dad who gets him a motorcycle, shows him how to do some wrenching and have fun. Have a daughter, be a dad she respects not just a daddy wallet.
Walk the road.
As you get older you get calmer and watch the world from a different road.   Some men will say we haven’t manned up. We should take care of our women. You are not helping society. On the contrary. I produce fresh produce for a local food bank, I also help during the thanksgiving and christmas dinners sponsored by the food banks. I help people where I can. Its my way of helping people crushed by the “socialist economy” we are heading into.   I don’t feel I should have to take care of a woman to have worth. They have done a fine job of telling men to f~~~ off we don’t need you.   What about children? Hm. I would have liked a child so I could teach them the love of baseball, but my reason told me that the pro’s / con’s were not in my favor when a woman could so easily take my child from me.
Is living the MGHOW life easy? Not always. Society demands you conform. Women will not allow their husbands to have single friends. They whisper gossip and if you don’t fall for their setup tactics you must be gay or a pedophile.    They cannot imagine you not bowing down before the mighty vag.
I still have friends who know I’m MGHOW. Some are MGHOW, a few are gay men. The gay ones call me a safe friend who they can talk to without all the drama of their women friends… Yes that made me laugh too. I also have two women friends who are anti-feminist, WGHOW.    We mostly talk politics or gardening stuff. They don’t have cats.
After living 22 years as MGHOW I have some advantages.
I do what I want when I want.
I found a job I love and don’t have to live in a cube.
I am far more self-reliant.
I let calm reason dictate my life and my soul is at peace.
This is my road. You may see me on it or you may be on your own road.   Live the road then own it and make it yours. Respect yourself and your life. Never compromise your respect for yourself.

Exactly. Since women seem to be able to shrug off accountability and acting like a complete jerk, shrewd men have learned to steer clear of them. Attempting to voice your concern over their abhorrent behavior gets you labeled a misogynist. Attempting to ignore or politely reject them gets you labeled as gay or a loser, etc. There is no accountability or rational discussion with a woman. AVOID.

I made the mistake of inviting my mother and sister with their families to my house for mothers day. It was a hilarious meltdown of epic proportions with the two women trying to out do helping me, the “vaginally handicapped” man, in the kitchen. Like calling me 3 hrs before dinner and changing the time to within the next hour. Rearranged my furniture and headed outside for a barb-be-que despite me preparing a sit down lasagna dinner.

Then when I finally got people inside to the finely done dinning room table my mother decides to hold a grudge because she wanted to sit outside.

The next day the hens encircled their wagons for a long war.

How dare I suggest that we eat dinner in my house, while I’m the host, in the manner I have planned with the effort it took me all week to prepare for. For gods sake, I don’t have a vagina, how dare I.

After all, I’m a man, and the inside of the house is female territory. If your going your own way then women see your house as “ownerless” and start treating you like their husbands (subordinates).

I was divorced twice. No more wives for me. They’ll be no more invitations to my house for them. I refuse the drama.

@chir, good post! And good to the rest of you too.

In my case, I was sold on not getting married sometime before age 12, so my red pills were easier to swallow. I had quite a few handed to me — mostly by females with a few added by their orbiting wannabe males — as I blundered through the dating scene.

The takeaway is the intense emotions caused by women’s casual betrayals will wear off eventually, unless we make the mistake of feeding them. Getting on with a good life on our own terms is the best therapy.
