I’m curious as to numbers so I’ve created a survey on survey monkey with a simple ‘yes’ option to track numbers. Unless I can get it somewhere prominent though it won’t be very reliable as it wont get used much.

Google trends gives a very rough idea. That trend in upwards.

When I can say with some certainty is whatever the official number is ….. double it … at least.

There are more mgtow that don’t know they’re mgtow ….. than mgtow … um …. errr …. yes … that’s right 😆

Men Going Their Own way seems to be growing quickly and spreading to other countries (Germany being the most recent).

I also did observe this. I like doing this, lurking and looking at Trends. I found a lot of german Blogs and Websites. They guys there do not use the MGTOW word so often but they discuss about it. One thing is sure, they all took the red pill. A lot of men in Germany and Europe have contact with People in the States, Canada, Australia etc. A lot of guys there have roots in Europe.
When I talk to men here in Germany I always hear a lot of displeasure about the privileges for women. They do not say it loud but it is there, it is present. I also did sharpen my senses and observing what is going on. There are a lot of men who refuse supporting woman, no protection, no supporting and chivalry has gone, and it is not an antisocial behavioural, it is really a matter of choice. Anyway MGTOW it is there, it is present.

Gender – Yes, you have to ask this.

Age – very important demographic

Martial/Relationship status

Number of past significant relationships in which you were married.  Common law/Traditional

Number of past significant relationships that ended in litigation (AKA Divorce)

Race – Always an important demographic

Income – important demographic

I wouldn’t use this as a template.  Writing a survey that can yield statistically useful data requires review by a expert.  There are all kinds of traps that you can fall in to that will yield questionable or ambiguous data.

Single hetereosexual men (the bulk of what MGTOW is) are fairly invisible in society, so it is going to be tricky trying to track down raw numbers.

MGTOW are noticeable for the effects they are having, not for the men themselves. We don’t see any articles titled: “These are the Men Going Their Own Way,” but we do see a hell of a lot about single women who can’t find a meal ticket to marry them any more. And it’s only going to get worse for them.

It should be a much larger group than transexuals which apparently the media is all aflutter about now.

Should be? It damn well is. Crushingly so. More than 70% of men under the age of 35 are unmarried and likely to stay that way. Seventy percent. That’s more than two thirds. Compared to that transsexuals don’t even rate. So going forward companies that cater to the single unmarried male demographic will do MUCH better for themselves than those catering to the transsexual market.

So what term do the Germans use? it doesn’t really matter what German speaking MGTOW call themselves, nor does it really matter what we English speak MGTOW call ourselves. What matters is that they, and we, see the institutions of marriage and fatherhood child support check writer for the hideous raw deals they are and sensibly choose to opt out instead, leaving the laydeez to fend for themselves.

There are many many more MGTOW than have ever even heard of MGTOW. Even internationally.

Let’s remove ourselves from the count …. and just START with the 15 MGTOW feature channels (MGTOW video authors) on our site.
Only 3 of them signed up here. Out of 15. And everyone KNOWS they are “MGTOW”.

That means out of 15 prominent and public MGTOW figures, if we didn’t know them, they wouldn’t even make themselves known within the flagship site of the community. With practically every 2nd or 3rd introduction reading like “OMG I had no idea such a thing even existed! So nice to find this place and you guys! I have been living and thinking like this for years!”… that would put it in perspective. It means we’re looking at an iceberg.

Conversion rates for websites are about 2% – 5% – reliably. We have created websites with 17%-20% conversion rates, but this is not just one of those websites. Our conversions are extremely high – but also extremely low because of the niche. “Conversion” means someone who goes from not knowing anything about your site to actually signing up with enough interest to give you an email address.

Our conversion rates are not based on actually “converting” anyone to a member. In that way it’s low.
But INTERESTED people are absolutely certain to join. In that way it’s extremely HIGH.

But even though MGTOW are highly interested being counted among the rest, when the most prominent aren’t….. the numbers can never be accurate. The very nature of “men going their own way” is to NOT be counted with everyone else. Its actually the entire POINT! So I don’t BLAME them at all. It’s almost a poetic irony which is kinda funny when you think about it.
