This will be my first post. I happened onto this site by accident, and am so relieved that I did. I have become progressively more disillusioned by the feminist culture that is spreading – abolishing women’s traditional gender roles and insisting that men’s stay. I’m so happy to have discovered this forum with such a clear and simple ideology that I can identify with on such a basic level. Hearing some of your stories makes me shudder. It makes me all the more determined not to make the same mistakes. And for that I need to thank every single one of you, for giving me the opportunity to take the red pill, and be freed from a life of servitude. There wasn’t exactly a single decisive moment that led me here, contrarily to some other members, but rather more of a slow progression. Though I enjoy reading all MGTOW introductions and learning from all my fellow men, I may have to apologize for not necessarily having the life experience behind my belt to return the favour. I am an 18 year old male.

However I will share with my MGTOW brothers something very personal that happened to me as a child, in the hopes that it may give others perspective on their lives as your stories have to mine. When I was 9, my father who was a blue collar construction worker, fell down a flight of stairs and injured his head severely. He was in a coma for at least two weeks where doctors were sure he would never wake from. He did wake. However his brain was damaged extensively. He had to relearn how to walk, talk, basic cognitive and social skills. I will tell you that I cannot fathom what he went through, starting life again from square one at the age of 40. But my father was and is a fighter, and he persevered through it all against all doctors expectations. He eventually healed enough to return home from the hospital. He was leaps and bounds better, his brain function and focus was back. He had a little balance problems but I could speak to him and we could still engage each other intellectually. It was not long afterwards that my parents got effectively divorced (they were never married officially, though they were together for more than a decade). My mother got married again, and then divorced. Again. She has had 3 partners. I have learnt through my childhood to deeply distrust the institution of marriage. When vows are recited and they say “in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer etc..” the words are meaningless. Marriage only lasts in health and wealth. That’s fine though. Because I never intend on getting married. I refuse to be treated as a tool, a disposable tampon, and an ATM. And I will certainly never chase a woman begging to be afforded this “privilege”. No matter attractive she is or how good the sex is. I’ll keep my integrity, thanks. And I will NOT be shamed for doing so or let that shaming effect my own choices. I have chosen to keep my self respect and god damn it I’m going to have the fortitude to follow through.

If you have read this introduction in its entirety then I would like to thank you. As I thank all MGTOW brothers for passing on their own experiences despite how difficult it may be. It makes our movement stronger and unites us all against our one enemy – the gynocracy.

I happened onto this site by accident, and am so relieved that I did

Thank you for saying so! And we’re happy to have you.

I remember that random Tuesday when I released myself from the servitude. Nothing in particular prompted it. Just an amalgamation and realization which cause me to walk down the street with a big smile on my face. As if I knew something other people didn’t. I observed the faces of the people I passed, and realized I shouldn’t feel silly, but they should feel pathetic for their somber expressions.

I may have to apologize for not necessarily having the life experience behind my belt to return the favour. I am an 18 year old male.

Nothing to apologize for. We’re all here for guys like YOU. You may not understand, but every introduction and story that all the guys take time to tell is to (quite literally) save a life. When I was 18, I felt I knew much of this already and witnessed my Mom and Dad first hand. I couldn’t articulate or explain it then, but I understand my father SO much better now after his death. Everything that he didn’t (or couldn’t) say, I understand now clear as day. Two parent household and they were always married, but even at 16 I knew I had to get as far away as possible. The world was just too big.

Thanks for making in intro, and feel free to chime in anywhere when inspired.

Cheers and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

If you keep doing what you've always done... you're gonna keep getting what you always got.

I remember being 18 (32 years ago) and what a daunting place the world was at that age. The girl I met then, I married and very soon will be divorcing. And you are dead right,(Sickness/Wealth) with my business failing, which affected my mental health, off she went. So very perceptive of you to recognise this. You’ll go far, but it’s a tough road if you choose it, I’m learning that.
