Have been reading here and there now and again, but today i said i must join to bring this message:

I love equality !!!

That’s why i have decided to complain to the UK’s ASA , advertising standards authority.

Those living in the UK right now probably have been hearing at least on the radio, but since i dont have a tv i’m not sure if it’s also on tv, about this new Vauxhall ADAM car advert.

I decided enough is enough and that no man need to be told how to dress and how to style his hair/etc or bossed around and treated like a disposable object aka a car.

So i used this page on the ASA website to click on the link at point 2. for ”submit your complaint online”.

I urge everyone else to go on that advertising standards authority website with the above link and make online complaints.

All of us can do it if we find it sexist. it’s our right to fight for equality ! To fight for equal right and equal representation of men and women…To fight for feminists out there that i’m sure are very outraged by this sexist misandistic Vauxhall Adam car advert. Yes feminists we fight for equality and against sexism !

I think we should do this more often…all of us should submit online complaints against these adverts which objectify men and mock men.

Apparently in the UK it takes as few as 6(in one case if i remeber corectly what was said on a radio show) or maybe close to 100 complaints to get something off the air.

If menbers from other countries find similar misandristic adverts and their country has a similar online complaint to a similar authority, then post your details to your country’s advert and complaint system.

We should all join numbers and submit complaints in all of these different countries.

 

edit: For those who are unaware of the content of this Vauxhall Adam car advert. Here is a general script:

Him: Hi, I’m Adam.

Her: Hi, So i guess you want to take me out.

Him:Ummm…

Her: isn’t that why you approached me, to ask me out.

– no worries, but we need to do something about that shirt…pick a purple one.

Him: Umm..ok

Her: and those shoes, new high top ones…(or something or that nature)

– oh and  that jacket, new one…(again can’t remember what exactly the new one is)

-and we must do something about that hair

Him: What’s wrong with my hair ?

Her: ”DONT” even get me started on that hair

Then another voice says something like: the new Adam car from Vauxhall, customisable to your heart’s desire…

I wrote a letter to a local organization that posted an ad that was blatantly derogatory towards men. I got a reply, they pulled the ad and changed the tone of the next ad campaign.

Yes, there are other more severe and direct examples of sexism against men, but why does Choice have to select just one, or work on a single one at a time?

The sheep mentality of these women is a blessing to the media and to the politicians who gravitate towards wherever the money and the votes are.

Sorry but your attempts to work towards equality will at best fall on deaf ears and a worst be utterly ridiculed.

Forget about begging at the feminist table for scraps of equality the only way for men to achieve true and everlasting equality is to walk away.
