So thread nr 2 that I started is gone. I still get email updates with replys but the post links never works. I filed a bug report, no reply.

I find the graphical layout of this forum… frankly it sucks. I really don’t get all this silly animations and stuff. For me a forum is about the words. The stories, not fancy teenage style graphics. Sorry. I am in agreement of the purpose of this forum, but is pretty user unfriendly.

If we have a problem with something just not showing, it could be our filter throwing it in the wrong status.
But in this case, even the “status” isn’t the problem.

I am required to point out user error is very often a factor…. but I will also be the first to admit when the filter took over.

BUT!!! we have the thread in a “broken” (unsearchable) twin version of this site. We simple HAD to get the forums search feature to work again.

If you go to http://notallwomenarelikethat.com (password protected) you can login using your same credentials because it’s a “twin” site and recover what you posted and post it here again if you like. The thread is still visible over there.

We’re very sorry this happened and encourage you to repost if you like. You should know we shut down our forums for several hours – and actually stopped the ability to post and reply while we were working to try and bring back the lost stuff, but too many members were writing in to say “DONT WORRY ABOUT IT!!! JUST OPEN THE FORUMS BACK UP!!” and so that’s why we came up with this Idea to create a twin site for those people who it’s really important to.

At the moment MGTOW.COM is working perfectly and the forums are fully searchable.
Please know that we did our VERY best.

I am very grateful you told us which thread it was, because that’s one of the threads that was “breaking” the forums search here. The search feature would “QUIT” because it got stuck processing it. Completely screwed up and random.

I’m nobody special here. Just you’re regular MGTOW. One of the guys. I would say that it has been my experience that I have ALWAYS gotten a timely reply from these guys whenever I had a general question or concern (and I have had many). Max  10 min tops (by my count) during even the oddest of hours, AND I’M ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD.

It may not be my place to say, but this place is kind of like a second home to some, the hangout for others, and therapy for others yet still. That being said, would you really walk into another mans house, or walk into a free educational institute of higher learning, and then complain about the setup?  Being as graphically intensive and factually extensive as it is, obviously the man hours required to assemble such a site are almost beyond measure.The guys that put this together do so without asking a thing in return. NOTHING. NOT A PENNY, PESO, EURO,DINAR or any kind of Handout. It should go without saying that it would be courteous to remember that. And if not, there is always USENET.

And forgive me if I come of as too bold. Man, I’ve got an itch for protecting my own. It’s nothing personal. Old habits die hard.

Like Krillo I am not that interested in the bells and whistles so for me a regular forum set up would be just as good if not better than the existing one.
