This is rather surprising as JtO has never (to my limited knowledge) expressed such skepticism of the great biological differences between men and women, that men and women behave differently due mainly to social conditioning rather than biological factors. The usual anti-MGTOW, NAWALT- enthusiast trolls have applauded him in the comments section of both videos and I really wonder what JtO’s motivations are. He had recently done a hangout with Barbar discussing “neo-masculinity” and also published an article on Barbar’s blog. There is no shortage of disagreement in the YT MGTOW sphere, even if you discount political left-right disputes. This however, seems strange because it seemed to come out of the blue, whereas the schisms such as the ones between Stardusk and Sandman or Clarey and Barbar escalated more gradually over a relatively long period of time.

Can anyone offer some insights as to JtO’s motivations for this sudden bout of moralizing and authoritativeness? Does anyone see some benefit to MGTOW for JtO to suddenly rejecting significant biological differences as the basis for the disparity of behavior between men and women and in doing so undermine biology based theories of gynocentrism, hypergamy, etc.? After he released his most recent “Women Are Evil” video (in which he reiterates that women are NOT evil. I don’t know any popular MGTOW that states that, f~~~ing straw man), I un-subbed him. What do you guys think of this recent turn of events?

I happen to believe far more human behavior is genetically programmed than any of us really want to believe. Those famous studies of separated twins come immediately to mind. Two genetically identical people who had never met one another made amazingly similar choices in their lives.

I didn’t pay close attention but I think the thing was GWW was trying to say traditionalism is good for men (she’s entitled to her opinion) and there was some fallout from that.

He ain’t more enlightened than I am. No one gave me a red pill or told me to go my own way. I assessed my entire life 7 years ago and was shocked at my conclusion…I just thought I was the only one.

If a man decides to spend a s~~~ load of time making videos after ‘going his own way’ with his opinions/thoughts/beliefs/experience, well there’s not really much to f~~~ing say is there? How can you ‘go your own way’ by talking about ‘going your own way’ week after week? You simply run out of s~~~ to say and start getting into areas that are beyond that ‘ah hah!’ MGTOW moment. Just cuz someone has a ‘name’ associated with MGTOW doesn’t make them some kind of authority on anything. I’m not impressed by anything other than mgtow.com.

Once you go your own way, the last thing I expect is a bunch of men agreeing on any further analysis into any subject. We’re men, and we don’t need no stinkin’ pundits wearing a MGTOW badge. We go MGTOW based on our own realizations of reality.

In short, who gives a f~~~?… when you go your own way, use your own f~~~ing brain. Does John the Whatever have any stock tips too?

In regards to Traditionalism, The Patriarchy, whatever you want to call it: There is no example in history, not one, of a society run by women achieving a successful long-lasting civilization. By “successful long-lasting civilization,” I mean building towns and defending its territory from invaders.

Feminists speculate that all societies were matriarchal in pre-history — they won’t get tenure if they don’t. There is absolutely no proof of this, if only because no one wrote about it and passed the knowledge on. Seriously, there are no paleolithic cave drawings depicting women hunting dangerous game, although there are some showing them doing fertility and birth things. Such matriarchies that ever existed went out before the invention of the grass hut.

Turning the Western World into a pseudo-matriarchy is a colossal blunder. We will be paying for it for generations, that is assuming there even is a Western Civ in the future.

I am of the belief it is not beneficial to have a conclusion and use that conclusion to validate or invalidate another school of thought, because you prefer it.

From a MGTOW perspective, and I will show you my biases here, I am concern about any school of thought that speaks of determinism regarding what men can or can’t do, and makes them out to be helpless. Doing this, particularly with the area of sex drives, ends up meaning men can’t help BUT be enslaved by women and MUST have sex with them, as there is no other choice in the matter.  That line of thinking leads to the “You are MGTOW because you can’t get laid”.

Again, how scientific is evolutionary psychology?
