I am kinda old school.  I have always liked Du Hast  – by Rammstein.   Some of the German speaking / reading folks that contribute here can correct me if I am wrong – but I think the song is about a man not wanting to get married, even though the girl is pressuring him into it.

Besides – those dudes kick ASS.

This song is pretty old.   I think Rammstein was probably going MGTOW before (possibly) it was a big thing.

So as the word riddle or phrase muddle up double meaning thingy could be translated as: “You…   you hate…   you hate me…  you hate me…   you’ve asked me…  you’ve asked me  you’ve asked me…    … and I’ve said nothing”

Quite an ingenious word game I must say (but only possible in those double word meanings in German).

I'd rather die a natual death with a clear MGTOW conscience somewhere off the grid than one within "modern" civilisation with a big stress mark on my forehead and a couple of dozen tubes plugged into my body. </span>

He asks me about Spanish translations and I ping him for German stuff.

Thanks for your assistance with the words Ned Trent.   I don’t know if you like Rammstein but I think they are pretty cool.   The lead singer has a killer voice.   The crunching guitar riffs / sound are truly orgasmic (in a NON-GAY kind of way…of course…).

Now actually (for a bit of insider knowledge) Rammstein, as much as I also like a few of their songs and style, there was a predecessor kind of band before Rammstein rose to fame and only coincidence had it that ultimately it turned out to be Rammstein that in the end rose to the big fame rather than the other German band with virtually the same kind of concept and music style called “Ooomph”. So in a nutshell: The band Ooomph was there first only Rammstein were lucky enough to hit the big time. Here is a sample of them (an Ooomph classic —> Labyrinth):

The chorus of this one being (translated again): “Left, right, straight ahead, you never get out again,  you’re in a labyrith and so on and so forth…

Personally, I prefer Oomph over Rammstein to be honest but anyways…

So which avatar of mine are you referring to..? The first one the second one (this one) or the third one..?

In case you mean this one (the movie Character Ned Trent) I’d suggest you look that up in my intro thread.

Best

Ned T.

Thanks for clearing up the source of your handle Ned Trent.   I gotta say-  kinda feel a bit sheepish.   I should have known that one.  In my defense – I cut cable after my divorce seven years ago.   The only thing that gets onto my ‘boob-tube’ is either off the air programming or a DVD.

I really don’t watch much TV – so …. kinda ignorant there, yeah..

Peace.

Again, it was the other band Oomph! which in fact largely influenced Rammstein, since Oomph! was founded as early as in 1989 in Braunschweig (I just looked it up on Wiki) whereas Rammstein was only founded five years later in Berlin.
