This was a few months back, but I was thinking about it today.
In short – A woman who has a fairly typical flabby post mother belly (though to be honest, it is by no means the worst I have seen) posts selfie about how normal and PROUD she is to have this because it means she is a mother therefore more wonderful than the women who are not like this.

Put this in perspective.
If a Dad posted something similar about how they were out of shape as no time to exercise due to looking after kid; they would get a s~~~ storm.
They would be told to go to the gym etc.

Women can post fat and proud photos and everyone has to applud them for “courage”. I have never seen a man do this, and if they did, they would be ridiculed.

I believe the formula here is:

Standards (S):  S x 2.

Gentlemen! Discuss.

That’s all it takes.

They say it as they have the money, but honestly? It is probably because they know they are in the spotlight and want to resume a career in it. I am sure they have help from a personal trainer – yes, but the real simple part as you say – Exercise and Diet.

This woman really isn’t even that disgusting…yeah maybe cover that flabby s~~~ up because its really not attractive to anyone, but I’m more ranting about the morbidly obese who act like losing weight is impossible and want to run around chanting BIG IS BEAUTIFUL!

LOL, if a chick is into fitness she’ll get shamed for looking good, wtf? wait until the day comes where a man is dictated on which woman he can date/marry because it’s so unfair and shameful; if you look good, have a good career, blah blah. what a joke…working hard for goals is shameful and looked down upon? hahaha.

This one?  Its pretty disgusting when healthy, fit people are shamed and obese are celebrated.  Yeah having a ripped six pack is a lot more effort than most of us are willing to commit, but there is no reason not to at least be height/weight proportional.

She is a superb example of what is possible. I wish I had thought of it first! To me, obesity is nothing more than the result of a life of self-indulgent laziness. Casting it as praiseworthy is a wagon load of uncomposted steer manure.

Hmm, unless you have some muscle and bone disease, 1hr a day would get anyone into some form of fitness, at least maintain yourself. hmmm NOPE she hurt the feelings of single mom’s or whatever.

a rather simplistic and all encompassing viewpoint. I am considered morbidly obese at 6′ and 340 pounds,….back when I was 19 I was 6’2″ and 280 and my doctor still called me obese even though I only had 4.5% body fat….I spent 30-40 hours a week in the gym…and my doctor called me obese because his little chart said a man my height should not be over 180 pounds…a had an accident, crushed three vertebrae in my lower back, two discs exploded(crushed so much I lost almost 2 inches in height)…docs said I would never walk again unassisted….but six months later I was back in the gym…..I cannot even describe the level of pain involved in working out,…hell, sometimes just in walking to the fridge for a bottle of water. Sometimes,…one trip to the gym would result in five or six days trapped in bed….sit around too much and your body hurts too bad to move,…move too much and you then hurt too much to get out of bed…when on a period where I had to eat vicodin like skittles to keep the pain in check,….even that would not help at times…it took me twenty years to find a balance, just the right amount of activity, just the right activities,..to keep the pain in check…when I was 40, I got back down to 270 after being as high as 375,…my six pack was showing again, I was feeling pretty good…but around 44 something happened, not sure what it was,…age maybe?? The pain came back,…along with muscle stiffness, spasms….. the basic formula is pretty simple….burn more calories than you ingest and you should trim down…..but it does not always work out that way for everybody… I am at about 345 right now,.. and I eat less than my 14 y/o daughter… I cut wood,…stack grain,.. toss hay bales, do all the yard work, fix the cars, train horses…I am not sedentary by any stretch,…even catch some cardio on the cycle or treadmill from time to time, bust out reps on my smith machine a few times a week……….I do not have all of the answers…but it is not always just a matter of a person being lazy or spending all of their time stuffing their face.if you have all of the answers, by all means…share,…I have an awesome little horse out there I need to do some more training with…but I am too heavy to get on him right now…dropping 60 or 70 pounds would be great.

I do not for a moment mean that someone with low body fat is obese. Nor do mean to say anyone who is sidelined by injury or ill health is overweight due to laziness. I apologize for over generalizing. I am doubly sorry for causing you offense.

By the way, I know a body builder who was rejected by the army because he weighed too much for his height. He does not have an ounce of fat on him. So much for those charts.
